+MrWtfchicken Lolz, I live on 450 acres in southern BC (Canada) and I just started building one a few months ago. 1000 ft vertical change with interspersed pine forest and open sage, and hundreds of rock patches. Its going to be another year before its done though. XD.....Now I just need to buy myself a friggin lift.

Even though I'm a DH rider, I still flinch whenever those trees go whipping passed the camera. Trust me, it doesn't take much to become the literal tree huger.

how do they not get lost when they go into the woods? I can barely see the course in the video once they head into the woods, and he's haulin' ass thru it!! are there markers on the trees or something? Occasionally there is tape marking the path, but otherwise, there's nothin'.

As a former BMX racer with a history of screwed together bones and stitched up tears in the outer covering, I used to consider myself to be a bit of an adventurous sort. I used to think I had a decent sized pair of grapefruits in my shorts. I was wrong. I am a pussy. How do guys ride bikes (or sit on the shitter) when they have two watermelons hooked to their perineum? Keep it up boys and have fun!

Sometimes, mainly they just replace it and rebuild everything that needs it.

Where can someone watch these races live?
+Cole T. If there's a local bike shop, they should be able to direct you to any local events. As far as something on this level, you'll have to look up something like Crankworx, and find out if it stops anywhere near you. Unless you are referring to watching a live broadcast, in which case that can be found at redbull.tv for several events.
