- Check out Dyfi Bike Park's fastest run 'Race Track' with the track's creator Dan Atherton and the rather rapid Gee Atherton.
Race Track is a double diamond black run with roll around the gnarlier features. Great fun on a trail bike but undoubtably faster on a downhill machine. With every run you do you'll find a little more pace, coaxing you to try some of the gaps you see Dan and Gee pulling on this vid.
Super fun and fast the race track is over 4 minutes long when being ridden at race pace, great training for the longer, faster tracks of Europe!

Good grief. 1:47 Gee starts railing turns after bombing the first portion, meanwhile Dan fidgets with his lens while flying down the mountain at crazy speeds, occasionally on one wheel. I look forward to riding that 5x slower, if I’m lucky.

Been to Dyfi once and it was wet grey, slippery and butt clenching. Best weekend ever!! Going back in summer for a dry ride. Race track and El Hippo are just fantastic. The fire road at the end of one track is incredible. What a place!
This is just freaking unreal!!! Really pulling my head, sick bike skills and always entertaining to watch you guys sending it! Really miss the atherton diaries though, all the best for the upcoming season!

Class video lads. Manualling like it ain't no thing, wiping the camera while hurtling down the trail. The skill of Gee landing into those turns off the first few jumps. Sick.

The video is beautiful, as you can see that the bikepark is recorded in memory, in good time.
Dan catching up so many times... I know he doesn't want to but he could still be top 10 in DH world cup I bet.
I think we all can agree then that Dan is actually faster than Gee. I counted four times he tapped the brakes not to go to close. Plus fiddeling with camera lens and doing wheelies. Interesting.

Dan is an ex World Cup racer and he built the trails himself. He could probably ride them with his eyes closed.

Paul Cartwright Exactly. My point is that Gee is the faster rider in general, but on tracks that he knows Dan can match him or go faster. There was kid at the Cannonball festival last year who was around 16 and had a time that would have came third in elites against the World Cup guys simply because he had a home advantage
Both are phenomenal but I think Gee being active world cup racer would still have the edge on a fully pinned run. The way he opens the taps at 4:10 is just nuts

This line and this riding by both is just mesmerising 👏 The footage deserves more, check out the new GNARTEC GoPro mount, the POV footage you get from attaching it to the chin will really do your trails the justice they deserve, plus you will see more of the riding from Gee too 🎉🙏
