the blue on tornel tires is no joke ha ha my 13s are still blue after 3 months
THANK YOU! People ain’t hearing me here 😂😂😂
@@PuddinsFabShop ever tried MEK.
Edit-nm that rubber wheel eraser seems to be the ticket
@@PuddinsFabShop bought a set for a C10 ... only LIQUID i found to remove that dang blue was acetone ...
Just plain hot water. Usually dissolves it. Use it to remove it off all the tires we sell through our dealership.
Just run the air up as high as it will go and scrub a curb somewhere.
it worked on mine. lol
“Take a $400 beater and add a $300 set of tires and steelies and you got a $600 rig. . . “. I about spit out my tea through my nose!
Come on now don't waste a good Southern tea
Someone should cross stitch that for my bathroom.
Lol I'm glad someone else caught that mathing... I lol for real and had to tell the whole family.
@@averagemyke2843 That is Classic Puddin!
@@mlynch001 I think that phrase needs to be put on a shirt. Lol.we gotta get this liked and noticed... come on!
Not two minutes after getting done with a lovely date with my mom I get rewarded with a pudins fab shop episode
You're dating your Mom?
@@Lucas_Tulic lol. Thought the same. Thanks for the giggle. UK.
Puddin buddy those of us that watch your videos every week don’t care what kind of content you make. You always find a way to make it entertaining. You don’t have to worry about if you think it’s boring or not we love it either way
The patina looks great sir! Glad your grandma is doing better. Lost mine last Wednesday so cherish every moment.
Sorry for your loss
🌅 The sunshine in my life, A Puddin's Fab Shop video! 😊👍
This may be my favourite you tube build. Never saw someone build their own a arms for front suspension and then all the calculations for rear suspension I was really impressed. The history of it being with you since high school makes it so much more special too
It's the only build I've seen that is realistic for the average person. Not some hundreds of thousands of free parts from sponsors crap that the builder doesn't care about. Every bit of this truck is passion and realistic expectations.
All that and he’ll still say “look I ain’t no fabricator” 😂 damn close enough
SOS pad
Good to hear your grandmother is doing well
Our prayers go out to your family
Keep up the great videos
Glen from Guam USA
What an awesome accomplishment... you just restored and built a truck YOUR way. Not many can say they've done that. Major props dude.
Hands down 100% the best content on CZcams every Time beats all the other ones
Bro I tell you what this is one of the best
You damn right BABY!
I search every hour on Monday for his new video. I love his content.
Lol! I can watch him all day long. Love the content 👌
The line up at new shop out front the new door be the next vid to have the most likes lets do this guys
letssssssssssssss goooooooooooooooo! due time for the Puddin
Sir Puuudaaaaain does it agaaaaaaaaain!!! Can't wait to see the full build and the finish up with that interior. This was a fun series. I knew nothing about air suspension before and now I know enough to be dangerous! Thanks for that!
You are blessed Sir. You're doing what you love. You make people laugh, cry, and learn all on a Monday. Plus you have a beautiful family. God's smiling in you Mr Puddin. Prayers for your grandmother.
Thank the LORD for Puddin' Mondays! I got my Dat-Sun King shirt yesterday, it's freakin' fabulous!
B E A utiful artwork.
I've ordered every shirt this man is made and let me tell you he's one of the best CZcamsrs nothing else I can say LOL
Catching the videos right on time.
This has been a great series. Glad to see this truck back on the road.
This one is by far my favorite out of the three. Can't wait for it to be finished up.
You make me laugh more in an hour than i do all week. Thanks man!
I love these videos now let me get to watching it
Well done PT! Love your videos. A super break from the hectic day. Tuesday's have never been soo good. Prayers for Nanny.
We like Bill, your Dad, Slick and others who have made appearances including the family. Always worth the watch your content is excellent!
Another great Monday
I am sick as hell right now. Feel like trash and can't stop coughing. I'm cheered up a little now that 6pm Monday rolled around.
Same here. Got sick on Wednesday and Can’t shake the cough. Yay for new puddin vid!
Everyone in Wisconsin is saying...fake rust ??? It takes some good long hours to work on these projects, you got more patience than I do. Great work.
OH THE SATISFACTION! Loved basically everything you did this episode! Please mount those big ass mirrors!
Been waiting all day for you to drop a video ahah
Hay PUDDIN!! Thanks for great content man!
I-love-it! This channel has given me a whole new appreciation for “rusty by trusty” even though it’s been rebuilt. A new appreciation for patina, and the purposely built to look old and wore out. Looks amazing man, I love your work
Wife and I have been watching your mail call videos all afternoon. We have both decided that Hoteod is so dang cute and funny. We think she takes after her Daddy. You are raising them right.
Oh and just so you know I got like three different CZcams accounts I always like all your videos brother LOL puddings Fab shop is the best that's my opinion and I'm sticking with it
Its Monday night and time for the greatest fabricator ,hello Puddin looking forward to your video tonite on the datsun
The old Datsun looking better and better prayers for your grandma I'm glad she's feeling better love you brother keep them coming 👍
Mate, you’ve done a great job on the lil Ute. Looking forward to seeing how the interior comes out. I’ve enjoyed watching the process and I’ve learned a thing or two. 🇦🇺🤙🏼
Well time for some popcorn and relaxing
Growing up, we used to use a brilo pad to clean white walls and white letter tires. Actually works
Bittersweet to see that thing finished. Really enjoyed the build and I look forward to seeing what the future will bring for it.
Good to hear grandma Puddin' is doing better. Those big mirrors would look great!
Hot damn it’s going to be a good one
I’m gonna miss this build when it’s over this has been great thank you Puddin 😊😎
Hopefully wheelhop Wilma is next!
I preferred the cab in that sweet blue myself, but it's not my vehicle. No matter how it ends up, it's still been a fun ride watching you build it. Keep up the great work man!
The fake Puddin scam bots really don't put in any effort do they? The hell kinda message is that? Lol
One of the most entertaining things I have found is watching your videos at 50% speed or 75% at most. I don't know why, but I enjoy it.
Love that swinging arm idea.
Hi Puddin family on this hot summers day, always glad for a new episode!
This truck turned out flawless in my opinion. Please leave it the way it is! MASTERPIECE!!!
Great job sir. She looks phenomenal. I said it once I'll say it again. This man should have millions of subscribers. God bless Puddin and Family.
Getting my evening Puddin pie.
Awesome
You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something - your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life. --Steve Jobs;
Very creative Puddin . I actually prefer the blue paint without the rust . Now your sticker on the box looks WAY too new . The whole truck looked better looking new .
Puddin, that little Datsun turned out amazing! Can’t wait to see the interior!
It’s been a great journey. Glad to hear your grandma is doing better.
I completely agree with you, wheels and tires can make or brake the look of a vehicle. Looks sweet!
I might be in the minority, but I’m glad to have seen the whole series.
A build to be proud of. It looks fantastic !! Another a great time here at Puddin's Fab Shop. DAMN RIGHT BABY !!
hot damn!!!! its gonna be a good one!
Just can't wait til you get to set up shop at the new place, Puddin. God bless you and your family, all the best to ya buddy :) Fist bumps from Canada
I'm so glad that this is your full-time job now! You're so much a relief to so many after the craziest days at work. Funny thing about it is - it's just that you're working too! You don't have to apologize for anything you do, we're with you 💯! You just keep building, and we'll keep building with you! Thanks for simply being you! Seriously, you don't have to change an inch.
I need more thumbs!!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 I don't think you've made a bad decision about aesthetics yet! Puddin's a Kindred Spirit! Just a Kindred Spirit closer to Taco Boy!!! 😋
I truly love this build! Thank you for doing full projects and the "will it runs".
Back in the 70s, we just used brillo pads or SOS pads to clean white walls. I don’t know if that’ll work on that blue stuff. I was a little hesitant on the fake patina til you show the “roller” paint job. Lookin good!!
I grew up doing it that way and I was born in 1985 the last of the real men
With some of these newer ones you just straight up have to sand or grind the blue off. I don't know what changed, when I was a kid a brillo pad worked just fine, but every whiteline or wall I've bought as an adult the blue was as stuck on as puddin's.
409 cleaner used to work well until they started watering it down.
@@stomper2582 yeah I remember that also
Laquer thinner
Love it brilliant job pudding. Mumma raised no punk! 😊
that little datsun came together damn good cant wait for the next project and future episodes of the good ol PFS
Loving this series, and can't wait for what's to come.
Damn.right.baby!!
Hot Damn It's Time For Another One 🤘🤘
So sorry your grandma is in the hospital I am praying for her. My mom passed away last month I so miss her. She was born and raised in Oklahoma. I would spend my summers down at my Great uncle Dan Cook's place he was a black smith in Oklahoma. He was such a smart man. I love your videos. God bless you and your family.
Best part about Monday, Puddin time! Also, I went to the National Corvette Museum this weekend but I had to class the place up by rocking my PFS Towrolla Tshirt!
Looks great! I love how it's turning out
Hey Puddin, SOS pads works really good for me on the blue rings.
It will make a old brown tire black again.
I agree. SOS pads worked great for me as well. They also helped keep the white walls nice and clean when they would get dirty.
yuppers with alot of water
The soapy sos pads
Back in the days when whitewalls were on everything thats what we used.
Great series Puddin! I really enjoyed the transformation! Now that it's complete we are one step closer to seeing the new series on my favorite rig of yours, Wheel Hop Wilma!!!
A long time ago I seen an old timer take a grinder to a set of tires and make his own white walls for his hotrod, dude the mirrors make it!! Looks sick now so clean it's perfect
First, love the work buddy!
A+ on rusticating the King! You did the bodywork and brought it up to snuff, only to sneeze a rust finish all over it! Ka-shew becomes oooh. You aged it into crustiness beyond earthly measure. You have the Rusty Midas touch. Watch out who you shake hands with! Thanks, Puddin.
Dat-sun king is getting better and better looking. Keep fiddling with him. Keep up the great work.
After you get your interior finished. And mirrors put on. Your ready for the show. Thank you for sharing
great content again... keep it up mate. love it
I’ve bought several sets of whitewalls and a few sets of white letter tires. I always have the black side mounted out so that they look nice. I’ve never heard hubcaps called center caps, those are are perfect on that truck.
Hubcaps cover the entire wheel... Center caps just cover the wheel hiding the lug nuts.
@@OldsmobileCutlass1969Va The full hubcaps are called wheel covers around here.
I really think some nice shiny curb feelers would look perfect on the datsun king delivery and some nice shiney mirrors and valve caps
For sure
Oven cleaner works pretty good at getting the blue of the white walls and it works good for painted on pinstriping too!
Those mirrors will complete the look and finish it off nicely and since they are old and worn they already match perfect!!! Looks good. 👍🏼
Terrific series, well done and can't wait for another.
Keep up the great content!
I am going to be in the camp t hat it looked better before the patina. Some 800-2500 sandi disks would have gotten you a decent finish, but that's not what you wanted. You pay your money, you get your toys the way you want. That's the way the world works. Looking forward to the next episode have a good week.
Just got done binging this whole build over the last couple days so I was pumped to see this pop up
That's a ton of sanding, wonder how long the Blue Boogers last.
Puddin': for removing the rear wheels..... instead of trying to "tip" and drop them down from under the box, would it be possible to modify the interior wheel tubs (I know another fab project) and "tip" and lift the wheels up into the box when removing? The component/box/frame geometry and clearance inside the box at the wheels leads me to think it could work and could eliminate the need to remove suspension components and the jacking gymnastics you have to go through now. Just a thought! Love the King Delivery!
She's shining like a sweet well used cutting diamond drill bit... Loved it buddy keep that bean footage rolling
Years ago I worked at a station and what we always used on the blue was warm water and just keep gently wiping it with a wet rag and keeping it wet and eventually it softens up and comes right off. Lol that’s how it used to be anyway, never did find any kind of cleaner that worked as well as that. Thanks for the great videos man.
Rims and tires definitely make a huge difference! But I was wondering if you've ever tried different colored steelies or always went with white with your builds
I just started watching. Is there a reason you seem to prefer Datsuns ? I’m with you on the Center caps they look awesome .
Don't ask him that LOL just understand a good videos
He lost his Virginity in a Datsun what I've heard.
Lol Puddin got me zooming in his baldspot when he's not showing it lol
watching this build has motivated me to get my 620 going again
I like the way it looks just so you know but it's your project so do what you need to make yourself happy.
Great to hear your grandma is a little better, can’t say I like the patina, I would have sanded it and given it a real paint job, but that’s just me 😁
You know I was thinking at the start of the video that truck would look absolutely gorgeous with some true mini truckers paint and a polished box, I love the patina on video but I definitely support the makeover down the road
That truck looks so good all put together. The paint trick worked out pretty good for rust.
The fake patina vid is the one I've been waiting for for months. Didn't disappoint. Watched it in the parking lot waiting for daughter's volleyball practice. Try the lacquer thinner on the blue walls in the tires....,
I finally got me a hoodie ordered. appreciate you and your family for all the hustle
So much fun watching you. Always a chuckle also the odd "oh shit that's great!!"
The patina came out great!!! Truck looks amazing!! Can’t wait to see the interior!!!
HOODIES!!!!! Yes!!!!!! It’s getting that time of year here in Maine 🙌🙌🙌
I ment to make this comment 10 hours ago, " that I thought that rust patina was a bit too much " then at the end you said that you weren't happy with it either.
Thanks for your videos 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Really enjoy this build. White rims and caps for the win!!!
