Hush now, hide, all you little ones
Rush now, into the middle of nowhere
Singing and laughter will die
Dreamless sleep follows the Nowhere King
When his kingdom comes, darkness is nigh
Quiet, crawl through the in-between
Silent, secretive feeling
Of fearsome hatred that reaches the skies
You will bring joy to the Nowhere King
When he sees the light leaving your eyes

@@fefek1 Nowhere king wants to murder *everything*, isn't that just peachy!?
Exactly me just now. Bruh, this is a show for a PG-Y7 show.
My favorite song in the whole series. Villains get the best songs.
Probably to make them seem more likable
Hero songs: Fun songs about friendship and stuff.
Villain songs: Fun song about how you will be killed.

@@Nectarthebee Then you see that Centaurworld season 2 is out and the excitement and happiness magically reverts everything that's happened and you binge watch it all in 1 day.
I’d like to add a few personal musings about this song.
1. It’s such a soft and comforting song, which should terrify you.
You’re being gently lulled toward your doom, you’re being made to feel comfortable with the end, as though it is inescapable, and your effort is wasted, and your survival instincts are to be ignored.
This song is a warning, but it feels more like the sweet nectar in a Venus fly trap.
2. This song implies something devastating.
Children’s nursery rhymes have been around for a long time. Some of them are just nice rhymes for kids to sing. Some of them.
A lot of others are historical references to calamity, tragedy, death, and heartbreak.
This song alludes to - and directly references - the story of the nowhere king; a story of heart break that led directly to a long period of death and tragedy, which culminates in the present calamity.
There are nursery rhymes about the bubonic plague, about other epidemics, about massacres, etc.
Most of these rhymes come about AFTER the intended event.
This rhyme exists in the centaur world and the human world, and the “event” is still ongoing.
In a way, we can gain some understanding of scope from the existence of the rhyme:
Chiefly, that the Nowhere King has been seeing terror for more than 1 generation, and possibly more than that. Decades. My best estimate is around 50 years.
More than that - consider the level of badness that has to happen for a nursery rhyme to exist in the first place.
Put it all together and you have created what I consider a “Biblical Terror” and a primal level of fear.
I would never, ever, want to meet the nowhere king, much less hear the rhyme, for the whole of my life.
We’re talking about a level of fear that would stop a human heart.
You say that you never want to meet the Nowhere King in Nowhere, but you listen to his lullaby and are you sure that in your dream you still will not meet? Or rather a dreamless sleep?
Tbh, if I wasn't hearing the lyrics, id fall asleep to this.
I would fall asleep to this song regardless
I’m doing that right now lol
I actually hums the song in my head without the lyric and it actually help me fall asleep.
I used it to fall asleep last night, the tune is too relaxing
You should watch the remix version, it sounds exactly like a nighttime tune if you never knew the lyrics
This gives me the feeling of a masked anxiety attack. And personally it makes me freaked out. And I like it? I need help
I was feeling the same and I was repeating the song for more than an hour and I thought "I think we need an one hour version of these" lol!
This song, I agree. The only reason I wanted to hear this was to make a short but... When I turned on subtitles I was really freaked out when I first heard it in the show... Like, such a cute show be so dark... I should report this to game theory. Well more likely his channel about TV shows...
@@starcakegacha6707 yes
I honestly shuddered when I figured out that "dreamless sleep" means death. I don't know why it freaked me out but it did
Ahh I didn't even realise that ... now I fell dumb and creaped out
@@unicorncouch9703 I think I I know why it's so creepy. I heard of endless slumber but never dreamless sleep. I think it's creepier because it implies there's nothing after death
@@pastelkitten8050 Agreed it just kinda ran chills down my spine when you pointed it out
I farted when I heard that part.
@@pastelkitten8050 because there is nothing after death. Enjoy life while it lasts till you vanish into nothingness muhahahahaha
SPOILER WARNING
the song's composition is honestly beautiful with the childlike music box lullaby melody anchoring the hollowed duet of the raspy voice and the whisper progressively getting louder and softer, the great harmonizing that makes it sound like a grotesquely beautiful choir, really complements the lyrics. also the wind effect in the background really drives home the creepy. also, the fact that the main antagonist's theme complements the final song in the series, sung by the main antagonists lover, makes it all that much better. and that's why nowhere king is objectively the best song in centaur world :)
Listening to this for an hour would probably drive anyone to insanity.
Challenge accepted
I’m almost at 2 hours now and I’ve fallen asleep twice

Wow! I love a childish cartoon with deep under tones of foreboding darkness and dread. And my lord The Nowhere King gives off a strong dark souls vibe and I love his personality to boot. Magnificent job.
I like the way you think. Wonderful.
Fuck, man. The first time I heard this playing in the show I got chills. Every time since then I get chills. It's sooo effective. A villain song that sounds like a children's lullaby with spooky lyrics about death and destruction sung in a way that would put a 2-year-old to sleep. This is, in my opinion, the best thing to come out of Centaurworld. I commend the creative team behind it and I only hope I have half as much innovation as them so I can someday create something half as engrossing. What a way to hype up a villain. Especially one we, when this song first plays, know nothing about. This song was written with a goal in mind and it blew that goal out of the water.
I really hope they focus more on riders world in season 2, I know this may make me seem like a normie or some shit but the opening scene and nowhere king scene were my favorite moments in the whole show
It’s fine, I get it. Maybe we’ll get a split between centaurworld and Rider’s home🤔
..I made an oc really friggin close to this guy in my angsty teenage years he didn’t look like him but his backstory and black sludge death powers are way to coincidental . I used him to cope with the deaths in my family. It’s bittersweet to see a version of him here in this show. (My oc is in no way affliated with centaurworld nor am I just the nowhere king just suprised me!)
Oh my, now I just wish to know more about this character of yours, course, it sounds like a rather personal character but surely if you wish to share more, you have my attention, I can promise that.
No amount of therapy will ever convince me that this is suppose to be a damn kids show
I don't think it is. Its really deep and sometimes dark
If you actually think about it, the song revolves around death with the lyrics like for example, "light leaving your eyes" and "dreamless sleep". It honestly reminds me of the twisted meaning behind Ring Around The Rosie, or how many lullaby's have a twisted meaning.
All I saw about this show was colorful centaurs and other weird looking things, didn't think there was an eldrich centipede moose
He's a goop elk
It was a pleasant surprise
My mom is downstairs listening to Christmas music and I’m up here listening to this 😂
I'm just really surprised that other people also watch Centaurworld! I thought me and My brother were the only ones but it seems we aren't alone lol. You guys are awesome, and Stay weird!
When this song first comes on in the show it’s such an intense tonal shift in the best way
I did not expect a song this intimidating in centaurworld. I felt my jaw dropping hearing it.
I WILL, I PROMISE, I WILL COMPLETE THE CHALLENGE OF... FALLING ASLEEP TO THIS. WISH ME NIGHTMARES.
I already did lol
And did you?
@@miramyth2971 yes and it was a peaceful night
The Nowhere King has already been waiting for you
I don’t remember why I decided to watch centaurworld but I’m so glad I did.
I've been listening to this on loop for a few hours and its getting more and more slurred to understand so words are mashing together or not being correct at all. I guess listening to the same song for 7 hours does that to ya.
That minute of silence at the end really lets you think about the fact that you just listened to an entire hour of this song.
After finishing centaurworld, hearing this once more has turned from more chilling to more heartbreaking in my constant replays. God, centaurworld made an incredibly wonderful character that is nowhere king, they really fleshed out his character in such a well paced way IMO. Ugh, I'm speechless
Gods, thank you. I've had this song stuck in my head for days now and it sucks having to hit repeat on a 1 minute song every time it ends
I watched this show when it first came out. On a whim we picked it and OMG I love it so much. This song gives me goosebumps every time I listen to it.
i havent watched the episodes since im not into this sort of stuff but, seriously thing song gives me the chills but i still cant stop listening to it on repeat

You should definitely watch the fight scene
You should Listen to the Taurnado song then, it has the same effect
you should check out the show it isnt that bad
@@kermitgotthesickkicks4265 personally in my opinion I agree but some people just cant handle the butt and fart jokes ya know? Like it hurt me inside sometimes to hear them, but in my opinion thats what makes the show so beautiful. It shows how different the worlds are and centaur world will probably change immensely when the war arrives

yalll... youre not crazy or insane for listening to this song. just stop, please. just enjoy the song.
I dont know why but this music make me cry
Did you watch the finale? If yes and COMPLETELY, then it is rather grief for the King or pain from the Last Lullaby
Now add in the Nowhere King's lyrics and it will be perfect
I actually hated it when the Nowhere King talked and sang because it just sounded like an old man struggling to breathe so it wasn't creepy.
This makes me sleepy, man I can listen to this when sleeping :3
I love how The Nowhere King's tail is still visible in this picture, off to the right. Just looming in the darkness out of sight.
i'm listening to this at 11:00 at night i dont think this bodes well for my sleep
Are you afraid that the Nowhere King will kill you while you sleep?:P
Hush now, hide, all you little ones (Hide and be quiet)
Rush now, into the middle of nowhere (Quick, Hide in the in between world)
Singing and laughter will die (Centaurworld's inhabitants will die)
Dreamless sleep, follows the Nowhere King (Death follows the nowhere king)
When his kingdom comes, darkness is nigh (When the minotaurs come to centaurworld the world will be dark and sad)
Quiet, crawl to the in-between (Quietly hide in the in between world)
Silent, secretive feeling
Of fearsome hatred that reaches the skies (The nowhere king hates someone)
You will bring joy to the Nowhere King
When he sees the light leaving your eyes ( The nowhere king will be happy seeing you die)
Hmm.. It kinda tells a story... Will the nowhere king try to murder centaurs and they will hide in the in between world?
Someone? He hates everyone except Lavender
So. I told a few people I watch this show. One of them said it sounds babyish. Now that I’ve seen all 10 episode does the taurnado look babyish? The nowhere king? The beartaur? Yeah that’s no toddler show.

I'm not gonna lie...... the first time I heared this song was when I have seen the episode where the part arrived and that song started playing........ I listen to it again. But this time....... here. I teared up at this song's actual meaning....... One creature already parished. And that was a random Ladybugtaur. I fear that one of the others might parish as well......... I don't want Ched, Dimpleton, Horse, Rider, Waterbaby or Zulise to parish! ESPECIALLY WAMMAWINK! I love Wammawink! I don't want Wammawink to die! 😢....... I promise, I'm no kid. But I really do not want to see Wammawink, Dimplton, Ched, Zulies, nor Rider to parish....... I fear the worst death-count around the corner approaching....... I am hoping with every fiber of my being that Wammawink and the rest the group survives. 😢. Legit, the "Nowhere King"'s song's Lyrics sounds like something straight out of "Diablo 3 Reaper Of Souls". PLEASE DON'T LET WAMMAWINK OR ANY OF THEM TO PARISH! I LOVE THEM! ESPECIALLY WAMMAWINK! 😢
I really doubt they’d kill any of the main characters, the show is rated 7+ ( event tho 13+ is more accurate) and I think it would traumatize a lot of little kids watching the show but it could happen I guess

I think Nowhere King was originally from Centaur World and came over to the Warlike/Human World. Possibly to help the Mysterious Woman, but he became corrupted at some point.
