The slow and reverb kind of gives this song a whole nother tone. It also sounds like, in the end, the Nowhere King somehow "won" in a way, against everything but itself. The wars stopped, everyone died. The world was wrecked and in ruin with the two causes of its destruction standing over it.
{[ Since nobody has done it yet, here are the lyrics :D ]} Hush now, hide, all you little ones Rush now, into the middle of nowhere Singing and laughter will die Dreamless sleep follows the Nowhere King When his kingdom comes, darkness is nigh Quiet, crawl through the in-between Silent, secretive feeling Of fearsome hatred that reaches the skies You will bring joy to the Nowhere King When he sees the light leaving your eyes
this guy has one of the most tragic backstories...he's my favorite villain. man deserved a happy life he just...let his thoughts get the better of him, like some people do. It's sad...
I like the Nowhere King as a villain but Elkman was dumb and used his own fear of not being accepted just because he didn't even try to speak to a woman.
I like to imagine the "Quiet, crawl through the in-between, silent, secretive feeling of fearsome, hatred that reaches the skies" is about Elktaur using the key in secret to get rid of his self hatred, aka his animal half, aka the Elk.
I like the chordal progression fitting with a chromatic decent from the tonic. Stepping to the flat 6th makes you feel the key has gone beyond what you expect. An example of another song chromatically stepping down is Saltwater by Julian Lennon which provides the same haunting tone. Using a chromatic decent in the harmony towards the end of the phrase keeps the haunting theme. Without it, it wouldn't sound completely different.
Its like a lullaby but its true intention are hidden within the words which is what i like and my sister told me she fell asleep listening to this song basically proving it is like a lullaby
Yes. Though a kid show, it shows quite “scary” topics for children. (Its not scary though.) I like it cause of the fact that it will traumatize children who watch the show. Jokes aside its good

Hush now, hide, all you little ones
Rush now, into the middle of nowhere
Singing and laughter will die
Dreamless sleep follows the Nowhere King
When his kingdom comes, darkness is nigh
Quiet, crawl through the in-between
Silent, secretive feeling
Of fearsome hatred that reaches the skies
You will bring joy to the Nowhere King
When he sees the light leaving your eyes
A collab between the Lich and the Nowhere King would go HARD
Yes indeed
damn i didn't even think of that, it really would 🫨

Wait whatvhis backstory?
Conceptually, he is by far the coolest villain I have ever seen
considering how most nursery rhymes and lullabies are creepy or unsettling upon close inspection, this fits in pretty well

I scared the shit out of my friends while playing this through a soundboard in Phasmophobia
You monster!
I just realised that theres a constant whisper in the right ear and its creepy
Ik- so hard to hear though
I actually started to become tired and cry because of this song, thank you

Bro this song gives me the chills (the good kind)

Man it's been a long while but this is so beautiful man can't wait for the next post.
😅
this is awesome
It's even better when slowed with the playback speed
This song puts me to sleep every night
This makes the song so so so so so so much creepier 😭 why do I kind of love it
This song in my recomendations was my first exposition to the existence of this show.
Is it good?
It's a decent show, (very much meant to be a kids show) but the villain that this theme pertains to is the crowning jewel of the show in my opinion.

Good luck sleeping to this
Dude why am I listening to this whole watching kipo 😭
I have no idea what this is from but fuck if I don’t like me a good warped music box song
If I get it right this is the lullaby/Theme song for a villian that enjoys taking lives and chaos in a pretty much kid show about self acceptance.
@@kerevizk9564and music its from centaur world
@@theironqueen2386 I forgot to type that down, bruh.
Wait till you listen with it full volume with headphones Its worth it to be deaf 😀👍

This is absolutely terrifying the lyrics sounds like whispering and I hate it
I don’t mean in a bad way
Not me about to fall asleep to this ._.
Is it wrong that I have a small crush on the nowhere king?
depends
Honestly yea
Love who you want I guess, but yes, it is wrong and weird.
yes, since it both a wild animal, and he will fucking kill you the second you get close.
Yes mortal as god I forbid it
