Thank you, Rabbi! I’m in human services and, most recently, the addiction recovery field. I’m saddened by the fact that many people feel free to judge someone who is struggling with addiction and other difficult issues. It’s very humbling to see the hand that some people are dealt. When I hear a personal history of abuse, poverty, obstacles, loss, illness, homelessness, foster care…most often, I am impressed by how good and conscientious a person has become, despite all that. It’s unfair to judge another’s behavior from the comfort of our own situation. Even if we are not comfortable, there is always someone who has faced greater hardship and despair, in one area of life or another…many all of them. Your story about how we don’t just come into the world as an individual, but with so many influences we don’t even know what they all are shows how complex morality and identity are.
I've been in social services for 19 years and I completely agree. I am working on my own judgements and refusing to accept others. We are the ripple.

The transference of trauma is life’s saddest relay race. Yet it happens all the time.
From generations of parents who inflict the same misery onto their children that was put onto them by their parents to world leaders who drop bombs on places they’ll never visit.
And that is why I had in my mid 40ties or so, I am now 57, that it was better for me not to have children, I have been my entire life abused, traumatized, and I am sure I would generated new victns, because I would have not be realky able to...no nerves so to speak
And my first priority was to become a scientist, and a Prof, but....destroyed...

I have not yet watched this in it's entirety but this is exactly what I have been echoing for the last two years since having an enlightened spiritual awakening. If he does not go into this in depth, this World (the earth, the cosmos, the 'matrix') is the greatest force shaping exactly 'who' you and I are forced to live as here in this realm. We are not in control here, we are but faces for the actor of this play, and passengers forced to watch ITs show.
In fact, so far, it is verbatim to the idea 'I' have been having. This is part of the collective unconscious of this world.

This was physically diffucult to listen to (a hint of unitentional ASMR) but very interesting and relevant. Before we understand we are being controlled it seems imo they can turn us into whatever they want and that makes me incredibly angry looking at some of the things people are made to do blindly. I look back and feel hatred sonetimes at how i allowed myself or another to be treated. But like he said i am incredibly greatful at the same time that i was not made into something worse bevause i have felt temporary changes in my perceptions that caused me to misunderstand in a very negative wau soneone elses intentions or actions. Sometimes you get mad at someone just out there living there best life. But there are people out there who hurt the very people they were supposed to love. As of right now i am not religious and but i am just waking. I have a ways to go and i only know what they want me know. Only understand things as they want me to understand them. I dont even know if it is the same for everyone or where the seperation between influence and individuality is if there is such a thing as free will. I dont hate the person i was but i dont know if i like them either.

The only way to leave is to not partake, if you're hand is on the door handle you can't possibly walk across to the other side of the room. To remain or stay glued to the handle you've been given to put on your door. If the choice of to have or not to have handles then the choices given by the master door handle maker who has many magic handles hidden away in their drawer that they, it, don't ever give you the choice of seeing so you're glued to the only handle you see of free choice that you only know. Hi Rabbi, I made some horrible decisions, suffered poor mental health, and suffered severe trauma. I’ve recently found G-d and he’s working on me but I’m not sure if the powers that be will let me be fruitful. We need better teachers in the community, we need guidance beyond Hollywood, Rock n Roll, and Howard Stern, we need a return to morality via Tinkenn Olam. I pray I am forgiven for my transgressions, it was a very complicated mistake.

I've never understood the belief that money in any form is the root of evil. Imagine you were stranded out in the middle of nowhere with two other people and something happened where someone ultimately kills another for a selfish reason. Would that act not be considered evil? It would be, and there would be no money involved at all. Untempered desire is the root of all evil, in my opinion.

I’ve done my fair share of research on the controllers and their families. Even the forces that control them in spirit realm since I’ve dealt with the spiritual attacks personally. It’s a way bigger picture then them just being the ones who control us.
