Always loved Sony images. I still use a Sony camcorder from 2013! Had to get it repaired after an opps but that an Olympus TG4, and a Sony action cam fit my bill.
Great video, I have a similar setup, iPhone, Sony WX350, Sony a6400. I find myself using the iPhone and WX350 90% of the time though.

Check out DJI's action cameras! Zero issues, way better than GoPro. Also, a big disadvantage of using the full frame camera, is the risk of damage or loss!
Following this train of thought, because the risk of damage or loss is so big, you maybe don’t dare to take the big camera out as often as you’d want to, thereby missing some great footage (especially on canoe trips).
You have a point. I once had my GH6 camera on a peak design shoulder strap while backpacking and something must gave come lose because it fell while I was fixing my shoes. My heart froze because that camera isn't cheap. Fortunately, it fell on soft ground, and other than a little bit of dust, there was not even a scratch.

Great video, just a quick question. While canoeing, how do you keep your A7sIII safe and dry when you're not using it. Does it go in your dry bag or does it have its own bag? I have a Sony A7III that I want to take camping but worried about keeping it safe 😆
Good questions. I have done it a couple of ways. First I used to use a dry bag and then put the dry bag in backpack. Typical carry a day pack of some kind when canoeing. But hard to get camera in dry bags. Second way I tried is to use a large trash compactor bag inside the day pack. That’s what I typically do when backpacking. Put the camera in the trash compactor bag and leave plenty of extra bag to scrunch up. Third way is what I’m settled on through. The other options work fine in rain but if you tip that day pack will sink. So my latest is a water proof daypack with a zipper. Check out the company Remote Designs or my canoe gear video. The pack will float and the camera is safe wrapped in extra layers for protection. I have seen some people use a pelican case but that looks like a pain to carry. I hope that helps
