Can't blame Højlund for his price tag, but his pressing is impressive as is his hold up play. Now, if Rashford/Garnacho/Pellestri/Sancho/Antony/Amad start crossing instead of shooting Højlund could get 15+ goals in his first season.

Goals is not the first thing I think of when i see or hear about this boy... some Man utd youths are like him, given the opportunity, but we are paying more than 70 M for this kid with potential when what we really needed was guaranteed goals up front by a clinical striker. I hope he does really well and grow to the beast he can become

Who is that someone? There are no quality strikers available. Furgurson is 120m, Osimhen is 150m, Muani 120m, Ivan Toney is banned for 8 months. Which striker could manchester united have bought? No one was available for the kind of budget Man United had.
He has the potential of being a wonderful striker and he what Erik need the pace and pressing he possess, as for being clinical he is not that yet but can get better and he is not worth 70 million max 50 million
I'm not seeing any potential here. I see a player that was dealt with comfortably by a below average Northern Ireland team. Hos positioning is off, he doesn't look to have that much pace and his finishing is poor. If I was a United fan, I would be worried as you can't stick a raw 20 year old up front for Utd with no competition for his place and then expect him to lead the line consistently. Haaland has excelled because at his last two clubs he has players pushing him to be the best he can. Occasionally threatening to play Rashford in the centre won't suffice.

His close control isn't elite by any stretch, but his pace and power, along with surprisingly good technical hold up play is very impressive. You have to remember he's 6ft3 and it's quite difficult to move with the mobility and pace he does, along with technical ability whilst being that tall and strong.
The more I watch him, the more I think he's an elite talent, but is still a little raw at the moment as he's barely played 2 full seasons of first team football.
