Honestly look how well we've done so far without a "world class" forward. If we're truly building a team for the future this is the move. Kane costing £100m at 30 is just madness and Osimhen is just wayyyy too expensive at £135m. Imagine bagging Rasmus and Ferguson for a combined 90m(Høllund for 50 and Ferguson for 40). These dudes can press and finish really well which is what we need. They're 20 and 18 respectively but are built like bricks, have some pace on them and can find space. They would push each other to succeed rather than having a top striker who wouldn't feel threatened by understudies put in less work and still expect to play. The competition would be intense and they would both keep each other on their toes.
They are inexperienced though and they need someone to guide them in that position too. Kane and Osimhen are the famous names but am sure other candidates would suit especially considering the price tag. Fullkrug is 30 but almost like Kane but can cost 25 million only then buy Hojlund as second striker to change with rather than loan out.

I'm not against us signing any of the others but anything other than delivering a league title would be seen as a failure. But realistically we're not there yet. Kane or Osimhen won't be the final piece this team needs. We need a back up DM, like two CM's a RB and a ball playing GK. Buying Rasmus and Ferguson would allow us to fill the other positions easily. I'm ready for us to win the league even in 2025. There's no need to rush it and try to buy instant success. It always backfires when it comes to us. We had Falcao, Dimaria, Van Persie, and Rooney and barely managed a top four finish. We need to build this team with future prospects as well as players that are about to enter the prime so that we don't have a case of Liverpool where everyone was getting old at the same time. We already have Bruno, Eriksen, Casemiro, Varane, De Gea; the literal spine of our team all thirty and above or pushing thirty. They need back ups and understudies. Signing Kane would just be continuing the trend and signing Osimhen would ensure we won't reinforce at least two of these positions meaning the problems of no capable stand-ins in case of injury to our starting players would persist for at least two seasons, meaning we would literally be where we are right now. We're going to have to sign two strikers at the end of the day this summer. Would you rather invest at least 200m in strikers and not be able to invest in other positions or sign two potential world beaters for 90m and then reinforce the entire squad.

All I'm saying is that whoever we buy should get in and start scoring bcz that's what we need. I don't think werghost has a future at this club bcz he can't produce goals,he does provide link up and pressing but we need goals+ we can't fit him in our system once we have a proper striker

I'd love to get Hoilund and Ferguson, great potential in both, and different enough to be options. We need 3/4 strikers we are so threadbare in striker position. The best teams have at least 3. Id love Osihmen, Hoilund, and Ferguson now that's a strike force for years to come.

@@johnbarnes3365 People forget we used to have Yorke Cole Ole and Teddy, with the number of competitions we should be playing in 3 strikers are the minimum we need. We arent a mid-table team that only plays for the prem. Ferguson is 18 too hes not going to play all games anyway and he doesn't even at Brighton.

First of all this isn’t Da 90’s and back then we played with 2 strikers up front that’s why it would make sense to have 3 strikers and like my man said this isn’t fifa we only use 1 striker in our formation so it wouldn’t make sense to have all three of them ,unless the gaffer changes his formation to 2 upfront which is highly unlikely

100% he is. I think Hojlund is the striker Ten Hag will go for as Ten Hag normally prefers to sign unknown players & develop them like he did at Ajax & Hojlund is a massive United fan so convincing him to join shouldn't be an issue. He's got everything in a striker pace, strength, presses well, has great energy, holds the ball & links the play well, can score with either foot & has great positioning. I prefer us to invest in youth tbh. Also our finances are pretty bleak even if we get Sheikh Jassim in. Both Hojlund & Retegui would be ideal

Players like Hojlund don't come round very often. Height, power, speed and winger like technicality. He's moving to a big club somewhere in Europe this summer, who I'm sure will turn him into one of the world's true elite. That ability to explode over distances is truly Haaland esque.
Based on the budget we have, we have to make smart decisions going forward. Buying Kane will be a mistake that will be hard to offload. We need young and energetic players so that we can move forward to fill other positions which are still critical to our team.
I'll pick hojlund over Kane every single day. Kane age and performance doesn't match the price .

Plus we don’t really have a recognized striker. We need atleast 3 striker options to compete in all competitions next season.
Even if we bring in Kane or Oshimen for around 130 million, there is no other striker left beside them.

The real problem with Man United is a true lack of depth or a lack of multiple dependable options for different positions, that is why the Qataris are the best buyers that Man United can have, since they will splash the required finances to buy many good players.
Man United have to make smart decisions in the upcoming summer transfer window. They should go for Osimhen and this guy as under study.
