NEW AIR HORN FOR GUNTHER MY 1976 AM GENERAL M813A1 before and after.

Today’s video we are showing you guys our new tools and updated parts for Gunther the 5 ton and then we are replacing the factory horn which is loud and screechy to an aftermarket horn for a Kenworth T680 that has a deeper tone. I will have a part number and price for the horn down below very shortly.

No, but I was there last summer for Whistlindiesel’s truck meet

53/1600×20's are cool,but that truck would be stuck at 52-55 MPH.Even in the large HEMTT or LHS that have those tires,they always warned to not drive them over 55 MPH.With the G172's like that one,or G177's for that matter,you can run 64-65 MPH all day long.My M813A1 has 48/1400×20's and I do 55 MPH all day long.Those large super singles are only good for off roading really.

@@Slim_Slid had 16r20 on my m818 and ran 72 mph no problem multiple times, no issues delaminating or vibration issues. Pulled fifth wheel trailer and tandem axle pintle hook trailers, almost always cruise 65 to 63 at 2300 rpm with mine. Now i did add counteract glass balancing beads inside the tires.

I have the stock horn on my own M813A1.Want to go with a legit air horn off a truck.

The horns on newer Kenworth T680 sound good. That’s what I updated mine too

@@DieselDom I want a horn from a Peterbilt.If you ever seen the 281 from "Duel",I want mine to sound exactly like the truck from that movie.
