Dave please read and consider this - SERIOUS ALERT FOR WOLVES NEXT SEASON. I fully agree with Magic that VAR is ruining the game ( Magic please continue to come to matches 🙏) and Wolves performance was miserable - and yes while the PL needs to seriously investigate the VAR abuse that has befallen Wolves, not only in today’s match, but throughout the entire season- but a more serious threat from our enforced obsession with VAR awaits us. MAIN THREAT- A more serious danger here from VAR, that is likely to adversely impact Wolves in the next season if we do not address it. That danger is simple. Our consternation and ‘obsession’ over Wolves losing so many points to ridiculous VAR decisions is distracting us all away from the FAR MORE serous threat to Wolves future. That threat is that unless we:- 1. Build a deeper squad so that Gary O’Neil doesn’t have to put 15 year olds on the bench 3/4 way through the season and only have one or two strikers to choose from 2. Seriously AVOID ( not just talk about ) selling too many of our best players ( granted we need to sell 1 or 2 to meet Financial Fair Play regulations) - unless we can convince the owners of this then next season we will lose the last 10 matches of the season yet again !!! Do we want to reach 8th again only to drop back in the last 10-12 matches next season ? We will if we allow the owners to sell randomly and to not offer Gary O’Neil a deeper squad and keep the vast majority of our best players. To end on a positive note - at least we beat Bournemouth at their place with only 10 men at the start of the season !

The players are probably psychologically affected by how VAR is impacting nearly every game. All of the effort, the endeavour, the workrate is being undermined by a wholly dubious technology that is bringing the game into disrepute. The players will need counselling at this rate as confidence in refereed and in the rules of the game will be shot.

Terrible performance topped off by a gutless VAR decision. Foul or not, it doesn’t impact the play at all. The build up is separate from it, a lot of football is played. I was going to catch up after the match Dave but I was so angry I just went to the car. Terrible performance. The VAR decision was bad enough but the players were very poor. Terrible decision making. Couldn't find spaces. Schoolboy errors. I was at the far end of the Steve Bull Lower and watched as we just gave away the ball from a throw in, then two minutes later DID THE SAME AGAIN!
The match was terrible and yes VAR ruined it Dave but to be fair we didn't deserve anything from that match. I went home proud on Saturday even with the loss. But tonight. Geez. Had we played like tonight against Arsenal we would be five nil down at half time. And Stuart Atwell. Unbelievable. IF Man City take the title call it the Atwell Cup. It is time for the supporters of all clubs to come together and protest against VAR. Fill North Wharf Road with 'DUMP VAR' banners in all the clubs colours on Friday the 24th of May.

There was no good, plenty of bad an heaps of ugly, particularly in the first half. Passing and ball retention was worst than under 5's. The truth is this sickness has not been a one off. In too many games this season this has been evident. 2nd half was better, helped by their sending off. You don't need to be mystic meg to see the weaknesses in the "Twiggy" like squad. We need the calvary to come in the summer, or next season will be a mirror image of what we are seeing now. Just not good enough!

Totally agree with everything the three of you said, Dave. We watched the game after attending an Anzac Day Dawn Service here in Brisbane and it didn't bring a smile to our faces. Inexcusably poor performance from a team that were still cheated out of a point they didn't deserve. Refereeing and VAR are no longer acceptable in any way and Attwell shouldn't be anywhere near a football pitch. Is it any wonder that there's under performance on the pitch when the players are cheated in almost every game. The game is broken and the Premier League has become a joke. MOM: Sa. Highlight: ? I can understand why the supporters aren’t happy because Wolves played well against Arsenal and everyone expected them to beat Bournemouth. It’s hard to understand but no one knows what’s happening in the dressing room. This season has been a complete rollercoaster, from being relegation candidates to challenging for Europe and now to be crashing and burning. The positive is that Wolves will be in the EPL next season but will they still be one of the whipping boys for refereeing decisions? Luton will take heart from this performance and they will be hard to beat because they are fighting for survival and still have a fair chance, they will be looking for three points at Molineux. I understood Fosun’s lack of investment this season, they were stymied by FFP rules but as we know the biggest offenders in the league are getting away while Wolves, Everton and Forest get slapped. I still feel Wolves have had a of had an unofficial points deduction. It’s not unusual at the very end of the season for relegation threatened clubs to get a few wins so Luton will go for it. If Wolves had been the same team that they were before the injuries to key players and the loss of a few points just think how different it would have been. Whatever anyone says, players are still only human and they were flying at one point, l do believe what’s happened over the latter part of the season has demoralised them.

I get that we have been struggling with injuries and having a very small squad, but GON still has to take some blame for the way we have been playing recently. We have seriously lost our edge up front even with the return of both Hwang and Cunha, but far more worryingly we are having next to no control in midfield and suddenly leaking goals like a sieve. 1-0 completely flattered us at HT. And yet again, we started incredibly slowly, and didn't press on much even after B'mouth went down to ten. A very, very flat performance all around basically. But we do have to mention VAR too because it is ruining everything good about football. Yes, we were shite for most of the game but we still scored a great goal that should have been the equaliser. And that's how football works - on goals scored and not on points awarded for performance. Thanks to VAR, however, we'll never know now whether we could have pushed on for a winner or would have gone to shite again and lost a second goal in trying. Because VAR changed the whole event and drained the excitement out of the match. That's what it does. Over and over and over again. And it's corrupt - I don't care - it so obviously is. No way in hell that goal is ruled out against Man City, Man Utd, Arsenal or Liverpool. But when it's Wolves they will check over every single f--king goal taking minutes just looking for any excuse whatsoever to disallow it. That's how it works folks. It's corrupt as f--k and I am totally sick of this pointless, tedious, corrupt as f--k invention that is absolutely ruining the greatest sport on earth and a game I used to love dearly.

@@AlwaysWolves Do you think...? What about Sheff Utd (dragged out a win at home), Newcastle, Burnley, WH (dreadful second half), NF and of course Coventry? Feels like the performances have dropped off in recent months even against weaker teams and definitely since the FA Cup debacle. When was the last time we actually looked good for the full 90 mins? I'm not saying we are in desperate straits or that anything needs radically changing, but just judging things as I see them I do see an overall drop off beyond the problems caused by lack of squad depth. (Perhaps if you review the performance scores on your show, you find one too - just a thought.) Anyway, it is a tiny bit concerning.
