The trailer is kinda confusing, but that’s a good thing it doesn’t really give anything away
Oh wow! Wow wow wow!!!!
The original, Nightwatch, in 1994 was Nikolaj Coster-Waldau's film debut. He was so tiny!!!! Great to watch that first before this one ...
In Denmark, when it came out, it was so popular it made more money than Jurassic Park.
I have loved Fanny Bornedal and Alex Høgh Andersen since watching The Bombardment (also known as The Shadow in my Eye) Pretty sure Casper Kjær Jensen was in that too! That movie absolutely made a mark on me forever!
Ole Bornedal is an incredible Director.
I remember watching this in Norway and it was also pretty popular there. Also really liked Final Hour (Sidste Time).
Huh, I had no idea there was another. I’m guessing this one is a sequel?
A good watch, indeed great!
Was it in English? Because reading movies is so boring!!
i knew Ewan McGregor played in the remake from '97, but... Holy Shit! Nikolaj Costa-Wildau, played in the original! XD
This proves Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is such a good dude, using his attained fame to revisit his roots and what gave him his break
Always great to see Kim Bodnia... nice to see him return to the institute.
Release Shudder in Sweden, already! Been waiting forever to give you my money!
Same

Get your money back only then will change happen
the trailer is all over the place to hide a much more basic story.
Yes, I feel like I’ve just gotten whiplash
You should start with the original
I will definitely watch this !!
Looks rad! But something funky going on with the audio in this trailer it seems? Sounds like some phasing is going on.
Este estudio y Neon, cada vez me sorprenden, con sus producciones ❤❤
I hope they add the original as well
OMG me too!!!
Same here🤞🤞
The Original Nightwatch.(1994) is worth checking out
Was hoping this was a sequel or extension of the Nightwatch movies
YES! I love the original, I love the remake with ewan mcgregor
Check out the movies Night Watch and Day Watch (in that order). They were made in the early 2000s and are very good.
So is this a sequel to his 1994 movie night watch?
I mean it's the same director and same name and judging by the fact that she brought up 30 years ago in the trailer...
Nvm. I answered my own question lmao
Looks like Jamie Lannister survived and took the black. lol
I feel like the subtitle kinda gives it away. Looks like a banger cast though so I'll watch it
Could anyone in the comments section, or preferably from the Shudder team, let me know if the Shudder app supports Match Frame Rate? Thanks. I'm in the United States, if of any significance. That said, I remember the app used to play certain films in the native format , but that was more than a few years ago, so I'm wondering if it has gotten better or worse with streaming at the native frame rate. Thanks again.
Looks good.
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is handsome. I enjoyed the movie without knowing it's a sequel. Too bad, it only includes Sofie Gråbøl as a picture (I only know her because I recently finished Fortitude). I also just found out they worked with Kim Bodnia (I know him because of Killing Eve)! Special mention to Alex Høgh Andersen (Vikings). I think I will watch the first one.
Anyone know what the song is from the beginning of the trailer?
Asking the real questions. (The movie looks good too) I am also trying to figure this out. Any chance you found it? 👀
@@Zinian There's just a certain vibe to the song.
Found it. I will never know fear by the minds of 99 czcams.com/video/qkc2whHmAbw/video.html

Do you know what it is?@@mikebelcher7244
I've been wanting to watch the original Nightwatch forever. I've only ever seen the remake starring a pre-Star Wars Ewan McGregor. I know that Nightwatch was Nikolaj Coster-Waldau's breakout role long before he landed his definitive role as Jamie Lannister in Game of Thrones but for whatever reason OG Nightwatch has never gotten a US release via DVD/Blu-Ray or Streaming. Making a sequel to a movie that came out decades ago is almost always a bad idea, rarely does such a sequel turn out successful.
Just looked up the original on Amazon. It's available on DVD and Blue-Ray.
I was thinking they were remaking the film Night Watch and Day watch but no
Nikolaj Costa-Wildau looks like Jurgen Klopp's identical twin!
So is it really played in a different language & only English subtitles???
Looks absolutely awesome. I have 2 problems, no English and in subtitles
This look really fucking good.
Was that Ivar the Boneless?
so is this a sequel to the Nightwatch/Daywatch supernatural creature flicks from a long while back?
nope, it's not
ugh I was excited for the past week only to realize it’s not, they should revisit those
Is that IVAR the BONELESS???
Im not reading miss to much.. I will just read a book
No, thanks
I can sum this movie up in two words: German noobs.
Indian movies pls
Please, Shudder make yourself available in Europe.
