I grew up in Hokutonoken when I was a child in Japan. It used to come on the TV around 5AM right when I wake up for school. I watch it before I get to school.

Hokuto no ken is one of the best anime Japan had made. It's violent but more of that deeply emotional, the most tragic scenario i have ever seen. RIP the Raoh's voice character, He is really talented man that made me love that character even if he seemed more like a villain.

Just a not so fun-fact, the original song is actually Tiny Little Adiantum, this "omaewamou" one is just an version with the phrase added, which I think is pretty cool, but the "creator" (guy who added Hokuto's audio) asked to credit the original producers, if anyone wanna see more it is " Shibuyan, Touhou Brazilian Bossa Nova Project - Little Adiantum" a bit lenghty name
Very fun song! I initially didn't recognize the where the the famous line was from, because when first saw Hokuto No Ken, It was in English. The local video store didn't have a lot of options to rent anime, and almost everything was dubbed in English. So I knew it as "Fist of the North Star". Definitely one of my favourites when I was younger as well!

Was really hoping she would have an "A-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA" part in her song. Until I saw the lyrics in Ai wo torimodose written out, I thought they sang "You a shark"... and that the singer who sings the second part, that starts with "ore to no ai wo mamoru tame" was female. That opening song is still so great!

I seen every episode of Hoktonoken, We in the west were introduced to it in the form of an animated film that was released on video in the early 1990s, I imported every episode from Hong Kong of the original anime.

Hokuto no Ken is known by the English title Fist of the North Star... I saw it a long time ago and it is one of the craziest anime ever made. Not just for violence, but just ridiculous events... Iâm pretty sure there is a scene where a building is falling over on top of the main char while he just continues to walk and the building splits where heâs walking. This doesnât even count all the exploding bad guys.

My only experience to Hokuto No Ken is through the PS4 game made by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and released in the US as Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise. I had seen the classic ăćăŻăăæ»ăă§ăă scene going into it of course but I really didnât know anything other than itâs one of those ultramasculine hyperviolent anime from the 80s.
I must say, having Takaya Kuroda voice Kenshiro was awesome. Even if the game was rather hit or miss. The main story was cool though.
