Mk heres a simple version the lore for everyone (might not be completely accurate):
There was a family called the Afton Family. It consisted of William Afton (The father), Mrs. Afton (the mother), Michael Afton (the oldest child), Crying Child (middle child), and Elizabeth Afton (youngest child). William started a business with Henry Emily (his best friend) after William learned about remnant and how it could make him immortal. He decided to open a pizzeria named Circus Baby’s Pizza World but filled it with killer animatronics without Henry’s knowledge. The remnant could be obtained from souls or agony and could be used to power animatronics and potentially make someone immortal. On opening day, Williams daughter, Elizabeth, begged to see the star of the show, Circus Baby, which William kept denying. When William looked away from her, she went to Circus Baby which was one of the many killer animatronics. Baby offered Elizabeth an ice cream from the claw that appeared from her stomach fan after all the kids had left the room. When Elizabeth reached for the ice cream, Baby let go of the ice cream and grabbed Elizabeth with the claw, pulling her into her stomach and Elizabeth either was crushed or later scooped when Baby was scooped for the first time. When William found out Elizabeth was missing, he said the restaurant had a “gas leak” and closed. That was the first and last time this location was ever used. A few months later it was Crying Childs birthday. William and Henry had reopened a new location called “Fredbears Family Diner” which was where Crying Childs birthday was being held. Michael and his friends decided to prank him by shoving him into Fredbears (the main animatronic) mouth, which ended in Fredbear crushing Crying Childs head after closing it on him. They closed that day and didn’t reopen until a few weeks later. William noticed how Henry still had his perfect family yet Williams was breaking apart. He decided to kidnap Henry’s child, Sammy, and break his family while also gaining remnant. He was waiting for the perfect chance when he realized that Charlie, Henry’s daughter and Sammy’s twin, had been locked outside by some kids. Henry had built an animatronic to keep his kids safe after becoming suspicious of William when seeing the blueprints of the killer animatronics but the kids that locked Charlie out had covered the Puppets box so he couldn’t help Charlie. William drove up to Charlie and killed her, leaving her dead in the ally before driving off. Finally, the puppet escaped and went outside. Puppet reached Charlie and ended up breaking due to the rain which allowed Charlie to possess him. Henry found out and broke ties with William. In 1987, Henry started a new business and made a new pizzeria. This is where the bite of 87 happened. William changed his name, got a job there, and tampered with the animatronics, making them act strange around adults but fine towards children. William was fired later and the restraunt closed. In around 1992, another location opened. William once again changed his name and began working there. He lured 5 kids into the safe room and murdered them before stuffing them into the suits. When there was complaints, he removed the bodies and was sent home by the boss due to suspicion. A bit later he decided to break the animatronics and set them free (I’m not sure why he would but I’m assuming he was being haunted by the souls, just wanted to retrieve the remnant, or got what he wanted so there was no need.) this backfired and he got chased into the safe room. He found the old springbonnie suit and climbed in, assuming he was safe. The roof was dripping onto the suit though and while he was laughing at the souls the springlocks went off, killing him brutally. He would have been suffering from either a few minutes to multiple hours. The last afton left was Michael. 30 years after this, a new place opened called “Fazbears Fright: The Horror Attraction”. It was based after the horrible murders at Freddy’s. Henry did not open this location. The place ended up being burnt down, possibly by springtrap/afton). William reached out to Michael some how (I assume Michael could have been working at Fazbears Fright) and told him to go to an underground facility labled “Sister Location” to free his sister and the last souls left. This was where the animatronics from Circus Baby’s Pizza World and Chica’s Party World were stored. Michael worked there and ended up being kidnapped and scooped by his sister to be used as a skin suit so they could all escape. This ended with “Ennard” (the name the animatronics used when they were all mashed together) being barfed out of Michael into the sewers. Eventually, Henry found him and they made a plan to end this whole thing by gathering the last souls and burning them. They made a location and gathered Molten Freddy (Ennard), Scrap Baby (Elizabeth), Scraptrap (William), and Lefty (Charlie). In the end, the location burned with everyone inside it including Henry and Michael. They believed William was gone for good (in hell) and that the souls were freed and safe. This was not the case. Cassidy (one of the kids lured by William in 1992) still needed revenge so she trapped William in a special hell where all his creations would haunt him. William escaped and got trapped in a game. Here he manipulated and controlled multiple people to possibly get remnant and escape into the real world. Soon, he found a girl named Vanessa and used her to escape this game but also turning her into his partner who would later kill with him. The end for now!
