    The place is amazing.
It’s so big, Djerba as well as the whole of Tunisia 🇹🇳 has lots of heritage.
09:44 The Greek 🇬🇷 give us this name 🙈
Berber comes from the Greek 🇬🇷 word Barabaroi and it means any one who doesn’t speak their language.
May be other Amazigh will correct me if i’m wrong.
But i’m pretty sure it’s what it means.
But we refer our selves as Amazigh, Free and noble people.
And we lived in North Africa for 1000s of years before the Muslim ☪️ The Christians ✝️ And the Jewish ✡️
Some historian says 12 thousands years other put numbers to 20 Thousands
The Capsian Culture in modern day ( Gafsa )
    Was Amazigh.
Apparently the Design of the Clay pots been done back then is still been used today.
Babouch ( Snails ) was the favourite snacks for Amazigh back in the Capsian culture and it still eating now by Tunisians 🇹🇳And North Africans.
I’ve heard that there is a water temple in Guettar near Gafsa was used by Amazigh and it’s 45 thousands years old.
They have discovered a fossil of a Homo Sapiens in a cave in Morroco 🇲🇦which is 315 Thousands years old
I’m not showing off but we are very old

Thanks for all this detail, awesome! Yes, the El-Guettar archaeological finds are mentioned in my guidebook: Middle Paleolithic period, with material from Mousterian and/or Aterian cultures: www.researchgate.net/figure/Stratigraphic-section-of-the-An-El-Guettar-site_fig12_278719448

Sadly the Bardo Museum is currently closed, and has been for quite a while, but I am keeping track of when it reopens!
