- Check which Audi MMI version you have in your car. Multi Media Interfaces are using similar starting screens and user interfaces so they are hard to tell apart. This tutorial will show you how to check if your have MMI 2G Basic/Low, MMI 2G High, MMI 3G Basic/Low, MMI 3G High, MMI 3G+, RMC, Concert, Chorus, Symphony.

Awesome information! So the row which you said highlights the version, on mine it says HW: B8-HU 6340D2.0 non of which are in the side by side comparison you made. What version is mine? Or do I need to update something, if yes, how? The car is a 2009 A4 2.0L Prestige by the way, so it has Nav.

You would have to replace hardware. Different head unit, screen (higher resolution)...

Trzeba wymienić nie tylko wyświetlacz, ale też headunit. Nie wiem jak w z resztą podzespołów i okablowanie.
Są firmy, które się tym zajmują. Niestety ja nie mam w tym doświadczenia.

Watching this video I have the MMI 2G High, my SW version is C6-HU 34.5.0, can you tell me if this can be upgraded to 5570, if so what benefits would I gain. I really want the ability to use USB if possible, my autochanger has a cable that appears to go to an apple device.. thanks for any advice. New subsciber
I believe that software 3460 and up brings 3D view (not exactly, but like a birds-eye view), so I would recommend the update.
Soon I’ll make a video about that additional connector. I guess that you can select Audi Music Interface as media source?

Well I've upgraded to 5570 now using all 3 discs, only noticeable difference is the birds eye view. I thought it would read CD track info rather than track one, track two etc. Still doesn't get my contacts from my S7.

Jeżeli dobrze pamiętam, to MMI 2G z bardzo wczesnymi wersjami oprogramowania nie miało ukrytego zielonego menu.
Wiatm, Audi A4 2012 B8 po liftcie mmi 3g, nie moge wejsc w zielone menu tymi dwoma przyciskami, kiedys pamietam przez przypadek wszedlem w nie wiec wiem ze jest aktywne, pytanie czy jest jakas inna sekwecja do wejsca???
Trzeba nacisnąć przyciski w odpowiedniej kolejności. I najlepiej nie robić tego zaraz po włączeniu zapłonu, tylko dać minutę/dwie na pełne załadowanie systemu. Proszę zobaczyć mój film o ukrytym menu w tym systemie nawigacji.

Hi Mr -Fix tks by your so clear video. I think my A3 2017 is MMI 3G Hig -its prepared but not have instaled the Navigation sistem (more 600euros). and i think not is a toutchscreen. I have instaled on my phone Android the AndroidAuto-Carstream and AAmirror plus.
With Carstream i control by central butons of the A3 easily, but on AAmirror plus, noone control A3, can make nothing and i must use (open-changeApps) in my Phone to reproduce -Mirror on Audi Screen to see App -android (games/channelTvs etç). Can tell-me some advice to control AA mirror by the control Audi A3 or have some upgrade to install on MMI to turn the screen toutchable ?? TKs

It says: SW: C6-HU 6350 12.0.0 0513.
Is it 6350 or 1200 and is it possible to update the software version directly to latest one? (if 12.0.0 is correct number version)

AFAIK, MMI 3G (with or without nav) supports bluetooth phonecalls (Hands-Free Profile) and not music streaming (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile). You would have to install additional hardware to stream music over bluetooth.
What does bbm need to make navigation work? It has navigation button but if i press it, It only says navigation not available.

I’m looking at a 2009 Audi A4 s-line and it just has buttons in the sd card slot, does that mean that it doesn’t have aux? It has Bluetooth hands free
You don't have MMI system but one of the basic radio systems.
There is AUX option available for those but I don't have experience with it yet.
You need the adaptor for aux at your glove box

Hi! As far as i know MHI2 is software version of another Audi/VW/Skoda/Seat system called MIB which replaced the 3G+ system at some point. Will investigate more soon.

Nie jestem wielkim zwolennikiem spolszczeń. Głównie przez to, że nie można zweryfikować przed wgraniem czy program nie jest wadliwy (czyli ma za zadanie specjalnie uwalić system).
Do tego jakość tłumaczeń często pozostawia wiele do życzenia.

Nie ma rzeczy niemożliwych. Są tylko nieopłacalne. Trzeba wymienić pewnie kilka rzeczy w aucie.

Niestety, ale to, że jest przycisk TEL jeszcze nie znaczy, że w samochodzie jest moduł bluetooth...
pod podloga na pewno nie ma bo sprawdzalem ;) wiem ze tam jest przy wersji z nawigacja. a przy samym radio to nie wiem gdzie szukac nawet
Mogę się mylić, ale pod podłoga był moduł przy systemiem MMI 2G.
W późniejszej nawigacji MMI 3G nie było już zewnętrznego modułu, tylko zintegrowany z samym MMI. Dlatego dało się go aktywować samym kodowaniem w autach, które opuściły fabrykę bez tej opcji.

Dzięki za zwrócenie uwagi. Na stronie musi wisieć post pisany, gdy 3G było świeże i jeszcze nie byłem jego podziału na Low i High. Wtedy określenie Low/Basic było "zarezerwowane" dla 2G.

Istnieją takie skrypty na karty SD, chociaż osobiście z nich nigdy nie korzystałem. Wolę to zrobić przez podłączenie się do auta.
Możesz próbować ze skryptami, albo zainwestować w coś typu Carista lub OBDEleven. Recenzowałem oba te urządzenia.
Ja posiadam w moim Audi mmi rmc nie ma nawigacji nawet mogę ją dograć jakos?? I jakie są różnice w tych oprogramowaniach 3g 3g+ 2g rmc??
Nie ma rzeczy niemożliwych. Są tylko. Ieopłacalne.
A systemy różnią się nie tylko oprogramowaniem, ale przede wszystkim sprzętem. Nowsze mają dużo większe możliwości.

Witam posiadam audi B8 z MMI 3G navi i mój problem tkwi z Bluetooth, a mianowicie sparuje mi telefon ale nie wyświetla książki telefonicznej ani innych informacji... Pokazuje same numery podczas dzwonienia i numer muszę wybrać z telefonu... A jak wchodzę w książkę telefoniczną w MMI to jest napisane "no entries available" na FIS też podczas próby wejścia w cokolwiek od telefonu... Pozdrawiam...proszę o podpowiedź
Udostępnianie książki telefonicznej musi być włączone w telefonie (o ile telefon posiada taką funkcję).

You are really good in your videos. I would appreciate if you could help me. I have an Audi Q5 2009 2.0 TFSI 211HP and its a radio concert inside with ami interface in glove box. There is no AUX in arm box and the tel button is useless as there is no bluetooth installed so there is no option to connect to any phone. I just wanted to ask if there is a working bluetooth adapter that I could connect to the interface in glovebox so to be able to use it.... The version of my radio says: Radio No: 8T1035186P, DISPLAY NO: 8T0919603E, HW:H02, SW:0310. If anyone could help would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

You have one of the Audi radio systems. Not MMI.
@@mrfixpl ooo really? The previous owner was able to connect to his iPhone music using a iPhone adapter. There's a AMI port, just wondering if I will be able to play music somehow wirelessly (car model - 2010 A5 3.2L)
