What car do you have or want?m and why?
I have a 2008 V8 4.4. it has 125k miles amd ive had no issues with it either. Great vehicle. Love the feel it gives driving. Lots of power and plenty room for the two dogs
Also, i think this styling is far superior to the newer Rovers.

I've got a 2010 3.0 tdv6 RR Sport which i've owned for 8 years, it's in santini black,mint condition with 83,000 miles.I agree it's a great car inside and out and is comfortable and reliable.I look forward to driving it every time i get in it.For it's age it's one of a very few cars in the world where after an invite you can pull up at some multi millionaires house who is throwing a party and not feel embarrassed by what you're driving.

Bought a 2012 with 180k for 13000 euros. Beautiful interior and exterior, did a lot of kilometers lately without issues, mixed consumption is around 8.6 liters (highway and hilly roads). Timeless design and a charisma few cars offer.
I have the 2010 V8 petrol in same spec and colour. I've had it for 7 years and absolutely love it. I have recently been looking at upgrading but can't find any new cars that give me everything I love about my old one in a modern package! I find the new Sport too chlaustrophobic as the windows are too small. The lofty driving position, seats and bright cabin of my 2010 Sport is just fantastic, but I need a fuel tanker behind me as I only get about 14.2 mpg out of mine. I really like the new Defender, but the side opening tailgate is a problem. I think you have just helped me decide to just stick with what I have got and still love, so thanks for that Steve!!
yeah I have to agree with you on this one, also just so you know after investigating these RR are going up in value as more people want this shape as you can do so much with them so thats even better. Thanks for your feedback Simon.
Hi Steve . I have a 2005 and I have the very same problems as you nothing comes near my beautiful Range Rover Sports . Yes the fuel is quite hard to swollen. But it’s well well worth it. I like you will stick with my superb beautiful Range Rover sports. Love it.

I bought a 58plate one a couple weeks ago as a temporary car (long story) but in the 2 weeks I’ve had it I’ve fallen in love with it, by far the most comfortable car I have owned. It’s a bit dated now in 2023 but I can not explain the feeling of walking out on my drive and my car is a Range Rover. I plan to keep it sort the niggly bits out like the paint and some better wheels and just buy another car alongside it.

I had a 2011 Autobiography that I ran from 2013-2018, lovely motor. Had to replace the battery but apart from that was trouble free, proved to be massively more reliable than the 5 series I had before it. Love your colour scheme, interior looks awesome!!

Most enjoyable video and I have to agree entirely 👍🏽 At the end of this month it will be 11 years since I got my 2010 which has the normally aspirated V8 5.0 with no regrets and no problems ever ( touch wood )

Saying that I'll probably buy one, there's a great 59 plate on Autotrader at the moment with 68k miles for 8k. Unbelievable value.

The 5L supercharged has timing chain issues, the tyre sensors are sensitive as hell so the light will keep flashing and the air suspensions on these things are a nightmare. Buy one with full service history and low mileage

The issues with these cars only come if you flog the accelerator/towing/rough off-roading. Otherwise they are absolutely reliable into the 300,000km mark

Great video and an absolutely gorgeous car in great condition. I bought a 2010 Mercedes E220d Avantgarde estate for my current car, but it was a hard choice of this or a Range Rover Sport and a Volvo XC70. I took my time doing research and to be honest it was a hard decision and I would of been happy with any of them but I was leaning towards the Merc and when a great one came up with loads of extras and history I took the plunge.

absolute love mine even though its been off the road for repairs more than its been on, after driving one of these is incomparable to any other cars. to be fair i bought mine for 10k a 59 reg with the 2010 shape and interior so if you buy one invest in a clean really nice one 13 - 19k.

Owned one a 2011 plate in mint condition was a great car and reliable butttt very expensive to maintain and if you don't be prepared for huge bills and poor reliability basically it's the rolex of vehicles but as with anything of quality costs a lot to maintain

Many horror stories of 2.7tdi engine implosions keep their prices at 7-10k ( 13- 20 A$). Nice vehicle if you can find a well maintained
Example though am wary of claimed Low mileage cars with NO service history

Have a big problem with my 2010 Sport. You and had corresponded several times. It’s currently at the shop…again for left rear wheel bearing and when they took it apart the backing plate is rusted and needs replaced ASAP. If they put the new wheel bearing on it will break apart all the parts attached. The mechanic states the entire assembly is on national back order from the UK for 3 months plus! The truck is back together but with limited driving low speed and if the bearing gets louder park it until the parts arrive from the UK. Any assistance would be most appreciative!!!! Dianna

Good video. Impressive RRS. How’s the interior space (and rear leg room) compared to the full body RR Discovery LR 3/4?
To be honest in the back not so great. Front amazing like and armchair. Back is comfy but leg room is tight at times
the disco 4 and the range rover sport hse 2010 are the same car, just different bodies and a few interior touches. i know this cause we have a disco 4 and used to have this exact car in red. they have the same chassis too.

I love my 2010 sport! Much prefer the old style gearshift and technology vs the newer Rovers of today. Mine is in excellent condition beautiful charcoal grey with black interior. Miles are creeping up there with all the driving east coast to Midwest.
If you have any repair or maint problems re your 2010 would appreciate your experiences.
What tires do you run on your Sport? I have the continental all season which are a bit noisy but go through the snow rather

Steve, thanks for your quick reply. I have another question that perhaps you could shed some light. My RRS was recently in the shop for repairs and the rear marker light housed in the rear spoiler was out and they changed the bulb. The mechanic didn’t fasten the spoiler properly and when I left the shop it flew off never to be found. It took 2+ months to get the part and paint but damage was done to the harness that holds the back up camera. The Rover dealer says it will take 4+ months and the part needs to be made. Bogus I think for a harness. Back up camera is currently unhooked and ok to drive. They obv have covered expenses and provided a loaner vehicle while waiting for the spoiler but now I wait for the harness. Since your in the UK I know perhaps. it’s easier to get parts much more quickly. This is insane. Your thoughts? Dianna

I bought this range rover same colour same model 3.0 tdv6 an not only that its in the garage right now lol engine been replaced air suspension turbos both replaced gearbox replaced lol an now its back in the garage turbo shot so new small turbo and the cat is blocked so getting that removed lol im 8 grand in. Honestly i love the car the way it drives an all but maintenance is just a problem for me ive drove it for a year an all that has happened but im sticking by it

Hello I just got a 2011 but I noticed the Bluetooth does not work to play music from my phone only phone calls. Is there an update or work around for this? I haven’t found an aux cord that works right yet.
In the arm rest you should have an iPod port? You then have the old style cable that plugs in there then I bought the Boovee 1000 to get Bluetooth from my iPhone 12 Pro Max that’s works fine and I have a 2010

They're called double-pane windows in the States. But in general 'glazing' are windows. A glazer is a window installer, etc.

Never had a single problem with that car at all been a dream
Get a gearbox flush helps with less pressure on the crankshaft less likely to go bad. Change with premium oil.every 5k miles

Well so far the car has been very good to me but I just had the bushes replaced for the MOT that cost £650, servicing is around £190 to £300 from my local garage. But yes can be pricy
