Jeven - Just got my first drone a couple weeks ago, and watched this before my first flight, this one hour video was PERFECT. Now that I have a 15-20 flights under my belt, I watched it again and it was even better the 2nd time! Well done.
This is an exceptional video. You did a great job of explaining complex features of the drone that might otherwise be intimidating and difficult to understand by new users. I am amazed by how far these drones have come. I built my first drone over 15 years ago when we were hand-winding our own motors to get things just right. Making the transition from 2 axis, servo driven gimbals to 3-axis brushless motor driven gimbals. Absolutely amazing stuff happening here. I confess that I have over 10 grand and hundreds of hours invested in a hand-built drone that is sitting in my attic (among others) and cannot do 10% of what this one does right out of the box. Although, mine did pay for itself very quickly as I built it specifically to produce an arial marketing video of a multi million dollar ranch which had never been done before. My ranch sold in 10 days partly because of the buzz created by this new "drone marketing" which was in its infancy. Nobody had ever seen anything like it before. That said, I could have done all of that and so much more with this tiny drone. Keep up the great work you are doing!

Just received my Mini 3Pro, looked and looked and looked for a GOOD quality, understandable yet thorough instructional video and THIS is THE one! Very well-done, sir. Thank you for educating me and getting me into the air sooner and with confidence. Oh...and I'm 72 years old and started flying camera quads in 2015. You CAN teach an old dog new tricks.
I genuinely and wholeheartedly appreciate how much effort you have put into this tutorial. It is well-rounded, well explained, and overall just well made. Im new to the drone scene for my outdoor videos and you have made it much easier to approach with some confidence.
This is by far the best teaching that I have seen. I have had my drone for 6 months and wanted to understand everything about using it as I could before I even tried to fly. Great training video Jeven! You've even taken the time to insert CZcams's commercials at logical points. It's amazing how many big companies (i.e., National Geographic, History channel, etc.) don't do that and you miss what is being said because of the interruption. I create software training videos for a living and travel videos on the side, so you're instruction is really going to help me. It's also much better than the other video content that's out there on the Mini 3. Thank you!

There is so much stuff here, I can't even retain all of it. What an amazing device. And yeah as others have commented about the instructor, the video was super well executed. It is 1 hour long but I strongly believe it could have taken 8 hours or even a week to put it all together to get the script, words, English and filming all perfectly coordinated like a Hollywood movie not to mention the film editing. There might have been several retakes done for sections because many times you can easily fumble something up or miss something or not get the volume loud enough. At least DJI should give him a free drone for this exceptional video.

I think it is important to mention about the APAS usage when the function is enable. As per menu ,the capability is disable when recording at high resolution such as 1080p 120fps, 2.7K 48,50, 60 fps or 4k at 48,50,60 fps. Which mean it’s better to set at 30fps to be safe.

Several weeks back I bought a dji Mini 3 Pro (DJI RC) and at the age of 69 feel very overwhelmed with new and improved technology they now provide. The one major thing that is missing off this RC is an earphone socket or Bluetooth connectivity to an earbud is not good having stealth if people can hear your controller talking to you all the time and then if they come over and say are you flying a drone you can say no I’m playing on my Nintendo

I'm 81 and I couldn't agree more. I just bought the new Mini 3 Pro used last week on Craigslist and love 12MP camera it comes with. He charged me extra because it has GPS, but I think that is fantastic.

Of course i did not know what I bought and took of in my kitchen with hardwood floors. It worked and learned. It did nt like carpet and crashed into the ceiling. Really great video, I'll go get soem batteries and start flying and watch your other videos. I can learn a lot in a really short time.

I think it is important to mention about the APAS usage when the function is enable. As per menu ,the capability is disable when recording at high resolution such as 1080p 120fps, 2.7K 48,50, 60 fps or 4k at 48,50,60 fps. Which mean it’s better to set at 30fps to be safe.

I started with the Phantom 1, and it was so primitive.
I do have a Mavic 2 pro, but just purchased the mini 3 pro with he fly more pack.
This video answered all of my questions.

Thank you for your time and effort it took to put this tutorial together. I crashed my first drone (dji phantom 3 pro) a couple of years back when I panicked and flew into a tree due to pilot error. Several weeks back I bought a dji Mini 3 Pro (DJI RC) and at the age of 69 feel very overwhelmed with new and improved technology they now provide. The one major thing that is missing off this RC is an earphone socket or Bluetooth connectivity to an earbud is not good having stealth if people can hear your controller talking to you all the time and then if they come over and say are you flying a drone you can say no I’m playing on my Nintendo
I saw another video and in the that video it does show you can connect Bluetooth headset.

I'm 81 and I couldn't agree more. I just bought the new Mini 3 Pro used last week on Craigslist and love 12MP camera it comes with. He charged me extra because it has GPS, but I think that is fantastic.

Of course i did not know what I bought and took of in my kitchen with hardwood floors. It worked and learned. It did nt like carpet and crashed into the ceiling. Really great video, I'll go get soem batteries and start flying and watch your other videos. I can learn a lot in a really short time.

I am a seasoned DJI pilot and have had many hours of experience, I still find your explanations helpful before I take My Pro 3 out for the first time. Great detalil and excellent pace make this a useful guide to anyone before their first flight.
