my grandma lived in Bhutan for 5/6 yrs and my mom was born in Bhutan too ... whenever I go to grandma's house she cooks this dish for me it's one of my favorite dish.. it's light and easily digestive.. ✨ 😌

I recently visited Bhutan, last month and im so in love with Bhutan and its people, culture everything. Being a vegetarian I had ema datshi and khema datshi almost everyday. Definitely gonna try this today as its quite cold in Delhi!

Next day I visited in. Restaurant ,
I order hema tashi.. 😂😂😂😂 .. eat with Rice.. too good test .. if you try local food..

When I lived in NY I use to visit the ‘Weekend’ restaurant in Queens NY every week. I fell in love with Bhutanese cuisine. Ema datshi, dried salted fish, dried pork and red rice. I miss that part of my life so much.

I tried EMA DATSHI at the Majnu ka tilla local restaurant. But in 2019, the restaurant & whole buinding was closed for re-construction. And also the land bridge of Maj nu ka tilla was closed for repair. So I felt so exciting to cross the road. I miss Majnu ka tilla so much. I miss India & Leh ladakh. I hope all of you stay safety & healthy.

I am happy to know that you still miss small Tibetan community. Yes there was many reconstruction especially the bridge. We also don't dare cross the road due to high speed vehicles.
