In a nutshell, I ‘m an avid dumpster diver, scrapper, picker, treasure hunter and underwater connoisseur. I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. Today I was driving and saw a TV on the side of the street I started slowing down and then I was like I been watching way too much Mike the scavenger 😅😅😅
The little black fan, that you have, is an exhaust fan for a Grill Top Stove.
It mounts to the floor, under the stove and pulls the smoke out of the grill area.
Their Great for keeping the space, under your house dry.
I think all your watchers love to see the things in the light. And what all of the things you put in boxes so fast. Your experience is very important to know that you are getting worth while things. And your personality is very fun to hear and enjoy the journey.

those small filing cabinets usually have a concrete block in the bottom to lower the center of gravity to keep it from turning over. We called them R2's in our office

The black and white thing at 23:30 is to put into a background tube. There were probably two of them. You also picked up a black metal bracket looking thing. That is to put up multiple backdrops on one set of tripods. Probably was a second one of those as well.
Would be super cool if you could rig the dental foot control up to a drill for operating your wire stripper.

Long gray electrical box is called a raceway. Used for running several wires above multiple breaker boxes. Wires will drop to each box. Depends on length as to cost, some run around $80 new.

23:27 might be a light bulb changer for reaching light bulbs up in the ceiling.
Once a fire extinguisher is empty, it can be safely sawed in half, I've sawed tons of them! Plus I have disassembled tons of monitors, there is no scrap in them at all, what do you do with them?
he has a computer guy that scraps them out for parts would be my guess

Hey Mike, That fan goes to a high efficiency gas furnace, for the exhaust. depending on what unit it came out of they are quite pricey. I recently got a used one off E-BAY and spent just over a 100 bucks. New was 285. You might look into selling it. BTW im scrapper at heart and also have a buddy that we call "Mike the scrapper, " keep on keepin on with the videos, good stuff!

Those electric capacitors at 3:55 are potentially dangerous as they can hold a large charge and discharge when your holding them
I totally know what you are talking about with the air bag smell. I was a firefighter/EMT for several years and I will never forget that smell. There were a few times when the driver would be in a panic because they thought their car was on fire.

@7:37 🧯 my scrap places take the fire extinguishers, the good ones go back to fire extinguisher maintenance companies, the crappy or unservicable ones go right into a shredder that they use for tanks ....including propane tanks ,they shred empty tanks ,but sometimes they go somewhat boom 💥 if a little gas is still inside, then they chuck a fire extinguisher in soon after 🤣,@8:24 that fire extinguisher taste is basically bicarbonate soda powder
