Great vlog. If you haven't noticed, Colombo's vibe changes drastically from area to area, with Pettah being the most crazy and chaotic and Cinnamon Gardens the most high class and posh. Leading up to 2019, Sri Lanka was one of the most luxurious tourist destinations in Asia, ranking #1 on Lonely Island. Unfortunately, with the Easter Bombings, COVID and the recent economic crisis, most people are now viewing Sri Lanka as only a budget destination and then get disappointed. If you're willing to put in a little bit more budget, there are some amazing experiences to be had.

Hi, what’s the weather like in Colombo, Candy & Ella right now? I read that it’s monsoon season right now, I’m still hoping to visit Sri Lanka early next month if the weather is not very bad.
We are in Kandy right now and it’s great but when we were in the south last week there was sooo much rain! But I think that there are always places that are sunny! ☀️

Charming couple and excellent video production but my god, you have no shame in carrying around $1000 cameras and contributing as little as possible to the local economy. Always eating at the cheapest places, staying at the cheapest places and taking the cheapest transport. You are one step up from panhandling your way around Asia.
You know what, you could see it that way but you also have to see that we are supporting these people! We find that we connect much more with the people in the little places, the most local places. Also, we spent all of our money on this equipment to be able to share these adventures around the world.
We don’t have a house or a car or loads of belongings, what we have is on our backs and we invest the money we make into this equipment to better share our journey.
We do believe that this way of travelling is the most authentic way, this way you meet the local people, you eat with them, you get to know them and we believe that it’s a beautiful way to travel.
We hope that we can give back in other ways through our videos that will hopefully inspire others to visit this wonderful country and the other amazing places we travel to.
Also, if we start to make more money through these videos, this will allow us to give back more and support these people in other ways.

It's offensive and misleading to call Colombo "crazy and chaotic". It's the most orderly city in the entire South Asia and is more cleaner and eye-pleasing city than many European cities. If you want click bites, go for positive things, rather than using biased titles.
I wouldn’t say that crazy is a negative word but also this was just based on our experience and we found the city to be pretty chaotic and crazy! Again not in a negative way, we love Sri Lanka and had a great time in Colombo, it’s a crazy city, in our opinion! 🙏🏼
