    So, it wouldn't work with windows 11.. but I figured it out after some research!. When you go to add the mvave chocolate, before adding as a bluetooth device, change the pairing from default to advanced. It will take a few minutes every time you pair it again, but it definitely works!

      Hello @matiasmoulin2126, thank you for your comment. Windows does not work natively with many Bluetooth controllers and requires an additional app. The wireless capability of any controller is fine if you’re just using it in your studio, however if you plan on performing live using Bluetooth instead of a cable is not a good option because of the added latency. Latency will be present regardless of any wireless controller you purchase. We hope this helps.

    Quick couple of questions if I may. Not new to guitars or computers, but new to MIDI, and just bought one of these today to provide some hands free functions. Not looking to be spoon fed. Just a couple of pointers if you dont mind.
    Why is loopMIDI and MIDIberry required to get this working wirelessly with windows? What is the function that Windows is unable to provide, or the manufacturers dont mention?
    Ive installed both and its detected by my ampsim, S-Gear.
    Im assuming your setup is similar. PC - Audio Interface - Amp Sim suite.
    What is the function of the Cubesuite software? Still looking for some documentation etc online to guide me a bit, as I cant get the device working at all in S-Gear.
    Any pointers much appreciated.

    I`m trying to use the M-VAVE CHOCOLATE to arm and disarm tracks in REAPER and can`t find anything on how to program the device accordingly. I`ve downloaded all the proper software (cube suite, etc) and spent hours so far watching and reading everything I could find, but nothing seems to work. There`s a youtube video by REAPER mania doing exactly what I`m looking for but with the iRig BlueBoard, but this footswitch seems to come already programmed for sending proper signal to DAW. If you have any idea on how to make this work, your help would be very much appreciated and maybe a good video for other clueless midi noobs like me! Thanks for all your work and in hopes this reaches you!

    • @guitarschoollive
      @guitarschoollive  Před 2 měsíci

      Hello @k.y.e.6807, thank you for reaching out to us with your question. Programming the Chocolate controller to arm and disarm tracks in Reaper can be done in 3 easy steps:
      1. In Cubesuite set the controller to ‘Program Change mode C’.
      2. Close Cubesuite and go to ‘Actions’ in Reaper. Type ‘Track: Toggle Record Arm for Selected Tracks’ in the search box and select the action.
      3. Click ‘Add’ in the shortcut box and press a button on the Chocolate and you’re done
      Feel free to reach out to us again if you need any further assistance with the Chocolate controller.

      @@guitarschoollive I wasn`t expecting such a fast response - thank you!! I tried your suggestion right away but It still doesn`t seem to work! I`ve followed all the steps - cubesuite program change mode C - made sure USB-midi was enabled in reaper - track toggle record arm and clicked add, but the pedal isn`t sending out any signal. Reaper clearly recognizes the hardware but it`s not responding for some reason. I`ve restarted the software and even my computer but to no avail. I use a midi keyboard with no issue but this pedal has been a major headache lol

      Let's try and troubleshoot the problem by starting from scratch to make sure the controller is working. Connect the controller with a usb cord and enable 'USB-Midi in Reaper. Hello @johncanavan111, thank you for reaching out to us for assistance. Let’s tackle the first issue of getting your PC to recognize your device wirelessly.
      The usual culprit is leaving the Cubesuite editor open. You must close all Cubesuite screens after you perform any edit. The PC gives complete control to the first app that is using it (ex. If you use the controller in Ableton then attempt to make an edit, Cubesuite won’t open). If that doesn’t solve your issue try using it wired via USB to make sure you don’t have a faulty unit. Once you get it working we will move on to Ableton setup.
