Dear CMD, totally get the geo setup is a must do. What I want to tune out is the harshness at lower speeds. How did the changes feel in that regard? At present I’m looking for slightly softer springs with very tuneable shocks. Carlton
Hello Carlton 👋 The lowering springs from King felt more progressive than stock (nice spring rate) however I wouldn’t personally have described the ride at lower speeds as a harsh (especially in comparison to my M2 Como from stock as an example) Best of luck with the adjustable springs - however I think a from chassis and short wheel basis might mean that this is very difficult to achieve without compromising performance to a degree 👍
@@CarMadDad Bit anti Motorsport. I went to another highly regarded suspension tuning company and ended up with 2 degrees camber/1 degree toe front and back. Set up for badly surface B road. At no point did they ask me not to share these settings with other 😂
I’ll let Matt reply Tony - just a note and my opinion (not that you’ve asked for it) but if you look at lowering springs you HAVE TO look at the camber arms and bolts - then have alignment and geo done - will completely unleash the car.
@@CarMadDad I was referring to geo set up and camber arms too as I know when you lower it needs resetting I was considering Spacers too but may go for bigger wheels instead 😂 these cars tug at your pocket for more upgrades don't they 😂 I've never had a car I was quite so happy to spend money on 😂

@@c4rltsyt Tractive can be specced in whatever spring rate you like if you go to the right place. You should also look into Bos suspension 👍
Would you say it almost "porpoised" before on bad conditioned roads at enthusiastic speeds? (to pinch a term being thrown around F1 atm)

The lighter steering is probably becase the springs need to settle in.

King Springs are Crap. Had them in a Rx7. Gotta a mate here in Australia got them in his Honda. Feels like your Riding on ya Bump Stops. 😅
