    Last year every single storm was over done by the media. They would call for 8 inches and we would get like 2-3. I don't even listen to them anymore I have taken some mediorology classes in college so I do my own weather reasearch and have found it to be more accurate. Looks like you already used a good amount of that salt. I am excited to see that new mower in the spring, hoping it will be a lazer z.

      @@JohnnyMow These are the forecast models we used in college and what I still use today. weather.cod.edu/forecast/
      Besides landscaping, weather has been a interest of mine for many years and sometimes I spend hours looking at different forecast models like these.
      Each gray tab at the top is a different computer model. Once you click a computer model there will be additional tabs on the left hand side. For rain or snowfall click on precipitation products tab and that is where you can a find future forecast radar and estimated snowfall accumulations. Just below the different forecast model tabs at the top of the page you can use that slider bar to animate whatever map you currently have displayed. Hopefully these forecast models can help you better predict the snowfall we get this winter.

      Income Producing Properties, Johnny. Buy some residential multis. Always plenty of renters but there's gonna be a lot more if we fall back into the economic deadzone of another Øbama Economy. Unfortunately the fix seems to be in for Øbama's third term. Oh no Johnny Mow, say it ain't so!

    • @JohnnyMow
      @JohnnyMow  Před 3 lety

      The control in my opinion is not easy to use. If u have big lots it’s worth it. Otherwise a plow with wings would be just as effective

    Your storm events sound very minimal. Our average snow event is 3 to 5". We get a handfull of up to 10" storms. Already eating a way at the salt pile. Johnny Mow Ching Chang the money button has been pushed.

      @@JohnnyMow Yeah a lot easier to move 1 to 2" then 5 to 6" and less wear and tare on equipment. Quick question on salting. You probably pay around $5 to $7 each bag of salt? On average per bag what are you charging the customer?

    • @JohnnyMow
      @JohnnyMow  Před 3 lety

      @@MinnesotaLawnandLandscape I only pay 4.08 per bag. So how I do it whatever I plow the lot for is what I salt it for. So it’s more then double the salt price for instance I do one lot that the salt cost of salt is 16 but I charge 45.
