  • This is a step by step guide on how to connect all the all components that come with a front and rear parking sensors system
    The basic process is:
    1. Place the brain in a convenient spot in your trunk
    2. Drill the holes for your bumper, pop in the sensors and thread the wires and plug in to the brain.
    3. Place the sensor display or speaker in the desired location of your dash (leave a little slack so that you can adjust it if needed) and thread it to the trunk
    4. Plug in the power harness to the brain and connect it to a constant power source.
    5. Hook up the yellow and white trigger wires to the reverse and break lights and your finished.

    This device is correct and useful when the sensitivity of the front sensors is about 20 cm, otherwise, in heavy traffic, the sound of the device will disturb the passengers of the car, because the distance from the cars in front is about 50 cm in traffic, but when parking that the front bumper of the car may rub against an obstacle.

    The front switch should not be connected to the brake lights. I’m thinking of having the installer connect it to a dash mounted toggle switch. Most modern cars have the front sensors activate on their own (which I have had in the past) or activated by a toggle switch which my bmw has and is what I prefer.

    My front sensors wont work all the time. May be something to do with electric regenerative power, it won't give 12v to brake light. When I put reverse gear and immediately drive mode it works otherwise it wont work even front is a car. It is just hit and go.
    I am thinking connect white wire to red wire so that it gets 12v all the time and senses distance whenever something come front. Display will be on all the time, my guess. Any suggestions please?

    It all makes sense apart from connecting the front sensors,
    Surely if I connect the fronts to my brake lights they will will work when I press the brake? As the brake lights aren't always on?
    Surely the front sensors need a constant power source to? Thanks

    • @youtubeshowedmehow7546
      @youtubeshowedmehow7546 Před 3 lety

      My thoughts exactly. I'm going to attach the power of the front ones to my rear lights. That way, when I park if I turn my lights on the sensors will work and when I turn my lights off the sensors will be switched off. It seems dumb to me to only have the front sensors working when I put my foot on the brake. Driving at night with my lights on wont effect the sensors as long as I am not driving into another vehicle, or a wall lol.

    I have the same question. The sensors in the front of the car must be activated at a speed below 10 km/h, in the state in which we want to park, and in some cars there is a port called the canbus to which this radar is connected, and according to the speed The car will be activated, and the range of the front sensors should be low and they should beep only when we reach 10 cm of the obstacle.

  • @hazlbri

    I'm wondering: if you put 2/4 sensors at the rear activated by the reverse, how could you activate 2/4 sensors installed on the front ? Obviously not with the brake or reversing light? It perhaps needs to be incorporated into the gear shift ?

    • @mynameisprivate158
      @mynameisprivate158 Před 5 lety

      because you control the distance to anything in front of you you just don't get right up on anyone's butthole and you won't trigger the sensor. in traffic someone might pull up right on your butthole though and you only want the rear sensors on when you are in reverse!

    FUNNY COMMENT AT THE END OF IT.
    L.M.A.C.O. LOL
    Back up system and or side warning system.
    All Voice, no beeping? Voice tells the driver how many feet, inches away that the vehicle is from your vehicle. Drivers side approaching vehicle / passenger side approaching vehicle with beep as the vehicle gets closer , 1 foot continuous beep. Sounds like a great idea huh?? Some dumb people drive without lights on at night , sad but true!! This isn't 2010 anymore, we want cool ways of knowing, vibration mini motors in the seats, one on one left cheek and the other one on the right cheek of our ass cheeks in case the radio is too loud you can feel the vehicle getting closer!! LOL
