It was exquisite! He must have had at least some opera training. But what shocked me the most was that Colm Wilkinson, a very sexy 70ish year old man, has still got it going on with his pipes. The level of natural talent here, including all the rotations of major roles, is astounding. These voices aren't "manufactured", they are born.

@@teri6667 let’s not throw all the singing training all of them have had to do to the side just to say their skills were born. They’ve all honed their craft, and worked on it a lot. Voices like theirs are born through some natural skill, yes, but most of it is hard training and practice.
@@CryptidValentine Well of course! I guess my original point was that if you aren't born with it, no amount of teaching will get you there. All singers have vocal coaches.
Colm will always be the BEST Jean Val Jean in my opinion. His voice gives me ABSOLUTE CHILLS!

I also like how John Owen-Jones turns to face Alfie before he starts singing and the way Simon Bowman looks around, his stare all like "Just you dare to do anything against this"
And the way Alfie in turn gives tribute to Colm at the final note--nice to see such a formidable group of talent showing genuine respect and admiration for each other.

Brilliantly done. I loved the way that the other tenors faded out as Colm sang the last sustained note.

Sadly the camera is too shaky and it missed Alfie key change..... shame because it was brilliant
When Colm held that final note, he meant to put his hands together in prayer (like in the 10th Anniversary), but J.O.J.'s mic stand got in the way. It was more obvious in the DVD version
