there's just something special about black Archtops
Eine Wohltat diese Gitarre.
Beautiful old guitar. Well played as usual.
Yes from a private craftsman who also works for a guitar company, its really nice but the wood was a cheaper type.
Wow I just managed to have one made but yours is the real L5 , great playing
You had a Gibson L5 made?
nice playing/nice gtr; mine's same vintage, port-wine colour, all-acoustic model that had previously had a Bertollini floating pickup installed until the pickguard "gassed out". That's where I'm @ now. Gotta get it 2 a luthier 2 install the replacement pick-guard & floating (Shadow) pickup. Love how u let ur playing "do the talkin'"👍
Pickup cant gas out. You can repair it, rewire or resolder.
Tobias is like. Oh an L5. Lets see what this thing can do. I guess I'll play some bebop jazz. Just like that.
I wonder if Tobias ever had a Van Halen phase growing up ;) Great video
I think in some video he managed to play some rock, it was flat out rock not so rich as his jazz stuff
Beautiful sound and guitar 😍😍😍, but please install the pickguard 🙏🙏🙏
Yes! pls. much better with 👍
@@Jimi_7-7-7 yep
Why no pick guard?
'cos it's prolly "gassed out". Original nitro-cellulose pickguards will eventually crystallise & disintegrate .. quite literally .. as it has on mine. Authentic multi-bound nitro pick-guards r a fortune on eBay. I gotta get mine 2 a luthier & i bet Tobias hasta too ...
@@jocknarn3225 that happened to mine, then, ordered another from Classic Axe in Nashville. They sent me the wrong mounting.
