Lyrics:
Say goodbye
To not knowing when
The truth in my whole life began
Say goodbye
To not knowing how to cry
You taught me that
And I'll remember
The strength that you gave me
Now that I'm standing on my own
I'll remember
The way that you saved me
I'll remember
Inside
I was a child
That could not mend a broken wing
Outside
I looked for a way
To teach my heart to sing
And I'll remember
The love that you gave me
Now that I'm standing on my own
I'll remember
The way that you changed me
I'll remember
I learned
To let go of the illusion that we can possess
I learned
To let go
I travel in stillness
And I'll remember happiness
I'll remember (I'll remember)
(I'll remember)
And I'll remember
The love that you gave me
Now that I'm standing on my own
I'll remember
The way that you changed me
I'll remember
(I'll remember)
No, I've never been afraid to cry
Now I finally have a reason why
I'll remember
(I'll remember)
No, I've never been afraid to cry
Now I finally have a reason why
I'll remember
(I'll remember)
No, I've never been afraid to cry
Now I finally have a reason why
I'll remember
(I'll remember)
No, I've never been afraid to cry
Now I finally have a reason why
I'll remember

I am listening this masterpiece of music just right now, too. I am overwhelmed by the interpretation of Madonna of this divine composition !

A minha preferida de várias 😂
I do, I'm from Russia. I love Madonna, she is genius 😍🥰😘💋💕💕💕
Some of Madonna's best tunes are actually from the early - mid 90's. Never thought I'd say that because I am in love with 80's Madonna music
Here's another beautiful one by Madonna❤
This song deserves more likes
People always see and remember Madonna for her upbeat pop tracks, but I love her most for her ballads.

The continue of the "Rain" video clip. Beautiful. I love Madonna ❤
This is when Gustavo fucks Hannah
The 90's was Madonna's best era in my opinion. She almost never had a bad song in this decade. Her 90's tracks were art.
I totally agree,a more sofisticated Madonna
But because she was ahead of the time....now we appreciate that songs

With Honors is a truly great film, and this is also one of Madonna's best songs. Hard to believe they're both 30 years old!

After all the social media and surgery controversies these past years, works of pure art like this will stand the test of time and all the petty and superficial talk will be mostly forgotten. What a gorgeous and extensive legacy she will be leaving.
Madonna’s makeup and hair in this video is soooooo iconic and underrated
She was so beautiful in this video, that her father told her she looked just like her beloved mother ♥️
Gosh!, She looks like an elf that wig!
It was hideous lol
I would loooove to see a tutorial about it !

This Is One Of The Most Beautiful And Famous And Underrated And Incredible And Timeless Madonna Songs.
Raise your hand if you have loved this song since its release in 1994 but have STILL not seen the movie of which it sprung, With Honors? I keep telling myself every time this song pops back up for me that I'm going to take the time to go watch it. But I never do. Now I'm not sure if its even streaming anywhere. Sure I can find it somewhere. Every time Madonna did a song for a movie, the song always outlived the movie. Crazy for you, Live to tell, all from movies, can't remember the movie. But boy do I remember Madonna's songs.
La película es muy buena.
Haven't seen it either... I saw PCU that weekend...
I saw it years ago and forgot it. Watched it last year. It's not bad but not great, either.
Hand Raised but I will try to watch it next vacation ✋🙋🏽♂️
With Honors is in my top two movies. 'Crazy for you' on Vision Quest soundtrack, my #3 movie. The Crow is my other top two, hard to decide between them.
There are certain 90’s songs that give me an overwhelmingly painful and bittersweet sense of nostalgia. This is definitely one of them.
Same!
We're same
@Kitt Cloudkicker qqq
True...
Omg same here. I'm back in high school and seeing ads for the movie in my living room when I hear this 🙃
Who remembers this being a fairly big song in the Summer of 1994?
1994 😳
@@cream_cheeze5871 me too
First off, I wanna dedicate this song to both my late Mother & Older brother who passed away less than two years apart from each other, and for that I'll never forget them. Everything that I am is because of those two. So I Thank y'all both from the very bottom of my heart for teaching me everything that I know, which includes showing me how to love unconditionally, how to value someone other than yourself by way of making sacrifices, and most of all how to become more independent. And for that I'll remember the way that they both loved and took really good care of me, and for saving my life in so many ways, now that I'm standing on my own.
RIP: To both my dear sweet Mother & Older brother, may we see each other again in Heaven.
She has an incredibly beautiful and versatile voice, that goes from sexy innocent to playful and theatrical, to reflective and storytelling. Not many artists have so many facets to their voices and their characters. I think her voice and her songwriting skills have a lot to do with her character. They are intertwined. They developed and grew together.
Very well put. :)
Right lol! She makes it fun! Ray C. Thank you
Yea
👍🎸🔥♥️
I cld not have said it better. I concur 100%
"I'll Remember" was my favorite after "You'll see". This song will be in my heart forever! I was just a child when I heard this for the first time. I'm brazilian and at that age I didn't even understand English. I had a VHS tape at home, with the Madonna's music clips. I'll Remember is a work of art! It is pure nostalgia.
That movie was pure magic and takes me back to when I was in college.
Madonna has made a lasting impression on so many of us. This song will always be special to me.
I had a VHS tape too with this video and watching over and over

Life is like a big house, with many rooms, and upper floors and lower floors. This world is a lower floor, a beginning. She has gone on to a higher floor, yet she is still in the house. My wife and I went to see With Honors on our first "official" date. That was 1994. I still can't listen to this song without getting fired up. Next April will be our 30th anniversary.
Omg queen of pop …… love it mama
This is the Most Criminally Underrated Madonna song because at the time of it's release, she was coming off the public backlash over her "SEX" book, her 1992 "Erotica" album,& her movie "Body of Evidence". This was the start of,yet another, image makeover and in typical Madonna fashion, she didn't apologize, she presented it to us.
I dont think it's underrated. It was so popular! Until now I can still hear this on radios....its just that people forgot that this song was actually done by Madonna.
true best of all her songs
I agree. The maxi single edited with other versions is absolutely rubbish. They should have done a proper CD single and Maxi with an extended version (maybe more strings, you can hear some tho) and an instrumental. The same thing they did with “This used to be my playground” for example. It seems they did this song in a hurry. It’s a shame. The message it’s wonderful.
No. 2 en Billboard hot 100
It was a great hit actually and still is quite popular. Had it not been blocked on You Tube the video would have had more than 100 million views now. That's probably what gives people the illusion that it's not a popular song.

Hi Jada, how are you doing?
Hoping and praying that Madonna will sing this on her Celebration Tour !
Madona's vocals, lyrics, and beats can't allow you listen to the music of these days. She's just an extra ordinary musician. This is a great song of all times🎉👌
I miss these days. Madonna was the biggest celebrity in the world, she had so much power then. It was a magical time for us Madonna fans! Society has forgotten about her and the new generations don't know enough about her to give her the respect she deserves. There will never, ever be another Madonna.
Brock Wayne I'm only 19 and I'm a long time fan ahah. Seriously, I'm glad I know her and I'm mostly glad my mom loved the Confessions and HC eras enough to buy these albums. Madonna then never got out of my life.

I like Madonna from early 80s
Yes, I agree there will never be another Madonna; she's a pioneer and visionary, held true to what she wanted for herself, love her or hate her, she's a powerhouse. She's a true icon of pop music.
I wish kids today understood why she is so loved by my generation. Such an amazing talent, beauty and soul.

Just amazing ....I started listening age 13 to Madonna and I am now 42.....very sad much if the youngsters today have no idea who she is.
They're too busy popping xanax and drinking cough syrup to understand anything outside of that
Yep
I am 30 and I have loved her since forever. Go to every tour.
There are so many great songs by Madonna, but this one is has got to be one of my very favorites. It brings back so many memories when times were so much simpler and kinder. 30 years later and we're in a cruel world of total chaos, anger, lies and deceit. When I listen to this song, I'm transported back to that time. That's the gift that music brings to us.
Still listening to it as an adult. She wanted to appeal to adult audiences. I guess she got tired of that tiny boppers stuff. Well done.
My Top 3 Madonna Tracks No. 3 The Power of Goodbye - No. 2 Live to Tell - No. 1 I’ll Remember 🙏
can we just wait for a minute to appreciate how masterpiece this video is? 1994! no digital filming, no HD, no digital editing/retouching and the quality (not the image one) its outstanding for today standards!! This woman will always be a legend by herself.
An underrated song in an underrated movie. This song is so deep and beautifully sung.
Since it came out, With Honors has been in my top two favorite movies of all time. And this is my favorite song from Madonna.
I agree with you. This song is a masterpiece with bittersweet lyrics and ethereal, introspective music. I met her on a CD of a compilation of little gems of songs and I'm very fond of her because it was one of my first CDs that I heard. As far as I know, I think that Madonna has not sung it in her concerts because her shows have other nuances, and at the expense, that in some isolated performance she has sung it live but I have no reference. With respect to the movie "With Honors" it has a good screenplay and above all the appearance of a young Brendan Fraser with a good acting job, and who with so many ups and downs has managed to establish himself as an excellent actor for his Oscar award for his role in Darren Aronofsky's The Whale movie. Greetings.
Nostalgia❤

fumero Really? I disagree. “You’ll See” is bland as hell, nothing remotely special about that track. “I’ll Remember” is a beautiful soft ballad with meaningful lyrics, I think it’s a very powerful track about letting go. “Take a Bow” I understand and it stands out on its own just from the Babyface production alone.
Also, Madonna has WAY more masterpieces than just the songs you listed.
