I started earning in 2019 and invested heavily in mutual funds. Sure, I got a lot of appreciation but last year I bought a premium 2bhk in my home city Lucknow which is in possession stage and the price also appreciated by 15 to 20%. I will be using this flat for living. I am worried that with such increase in prices, the people who have just started to earn will not be able to afford a place to live where flats rents and prices have increased a lot but salaries have not increased and we have to give 30% tax to the government.
