Ki Tisa | Erev Shabbat: When You Elevate

- Join us for our Erev Shabbat service We will be going through the weekly teachings from Monte Judah. Ki Tisa, or "when you elevate," is the Torah portion where we find the sin of the golden calf. Moses has not returned when the people expected him to, and so they become frightened and demand the building of a golden calf to worship. Upon seeing this, God decides to destroy the people of Israel, but Moses intervenes on their behalf. Afterwards, Moses descends from the mountain with the Ten Commandments on tablets of stone. When he sees the people dancing and worshipping the golden calf, he breaks the tablets, destroys the idol, and puts the main perpetrators to death. Moses returns to God and asks for the people's forgiveness, which He gives but tells Moses that the effect of their sin will be felt for many generations. Moses pleads with God to accompany the people Himself to the Promised Land. God then gives the Ten Commandments again on another set of tablets and also grants Moses a vision of the divine thirteen attributes of mercy. When Moses returns to the people, his face is so radiant that he must cover it with a veil, which he removes only when speaking to God or teaching the Commandments to the people.

Thank you Monte for your thoughts concerning our LORD writing our 10 laws THROUGH the tablets , which would explain why words were written on both sides , but there is a slight flaw as well as a great reason if you are correct ; the slight flaw is that the backside would be reading from right to left and the great reason is that languages west of Israel write right to left and languages east of Israel write left to right ; so readable by East & West ; . . . on One For Israel I heard a good reason for writing normally on both sides > it is a contract agreed to by two parties and both get to keep a written copy of contract . . . the LORD sees and can read the backside from within the Ark . . . with or without holes, either way is accepted , and as you say the world will see them , I believe shown by the two witnesses coming soon

“How and when was Jesus born from the dead?”
Revelation 1:5 has been misinterpreted by this world. They think that this is talking about the resurrection of Jesus. But I am telling you the TRUTH, this is referring to the time when the soul of Jesus heared the Voice of the FATHER, when the WORD was breathed to him. His soul which was dead became alive, and became One with the WORD, who became a life giving Spirit.
In John 5:25, Jesus is talking about the dead who will hear the voice of the Son of GOD and he said specifically “now is” which means that at that very moment, the hearing souls towards his testimony that are dead, will become alive or will be born. This WORDS were spoken by Jesus before his physical death. Therefore, he was referring to dead souls that are in captivity of the flesh, and he is the firsborn of all those dead souls.
Jesus is not GOD because it is the FATHER who granted him life. GOD does not need to be born because HE is always alive and existed from eternity past. But the soul of Jesus was dead when it was sent to a mortal body and became alive because of the Breath of GOD, His WORD. And the souls of the lost sons of GOD will also come out from the same captivity where the soul of Jesus was, when they hear the Voice of the FATHER thru the testimony of GOD’s witnesses.

@@drgerni Only the lost sheep of GOD will hear the Voice of the FATHER and will obey HIM. The rest, dwellers of the earth, will continue to follow the voice of the beast or the flesh, the voice of the serpent, who is ruling their bodies. Maranatha!
