Do you anticipate there ever being "view only" access for client's books? In addition, do you anticipate the ability to be able to do more granular things with the permissioning like view/edit and not delete? These are available in Enterprise Desktop and we need these options in order for our firm to switch to QB Online.

There are currently predefined roles with one called View Company Reports. You can read more about the Predefined Roles here: (quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/help-article/accounting-bookkeeping/change-team-admin-access-quickbooks-online/L0zaohm59_US_en_US?uid=lwb9k1pn). However, you should be able to create a custom role with view-only access and assign that role to your team member for your client's books. You can choose View, Create, Edit, and Delete for any section of QuickBooks you would like that role to cover. Similar to QuickBooks Desktop Custom Roles. Here's how: (quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/help-article/manage-users/manage-custom-firm-roles-quickbooks-online/L4Gb8rBPt_US_en_US?uid=lwbagpgr). I hope this helps. -Karey

Are the access levels availability for all subscription levels? And are the access levels available for other accountants that might be added to a certain client?

These access levels are specifically for QuickBooks Online Accountant Users. Giving your firm's team members access to certain client's books for all subscription levels. Here's more info: (quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/help-article/accounting-bookkeeping/change-team-admin-access-quickbooks-online/L0zaohm59_US_en_US?uid=lxcc0z9p). However, there is similar role based access for the QuickBooks Online Advanced plans. I'll link more info on that here: (quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/help-article/access-permissions/add-manage-custom-roles-quickbooks-online-advanced/L8Ugph7xl_US_en_US?uid=lxcbv4co). Does that answer your question? Wishing you success. -Karey
