Typically, you wouldn't reconcile a transaction that has been deleted. If you need to re-add the transaction and then reconcile, you may be able to gather the transaction details from the Audit Log as shown here (tinyurl.com/mpuzunra). @@quickbooks That link does not work (404). I am not attempting to reconcile the deleted entry itself. I'm working through the steps on the 4th example (a deleted expense showing up in the reconciliation discrepancy register). Per the process described in this video, I need to have access to the status column mentioned in my original comment that switches between C & R. Is there a workaround for that part of the process if I don't have that column? I've engaged my accountant, but he seems too busy to assist on the QBO end. And in reality, I'm not looking for accounting advice at all, I'm looking for QuickBooks software support. I know why the issue has occurred and what my accounting records should show, I just don't know what actions to take within QBO to make it right again. Please help :)

That's a great question. Your Square transactions can be added, matched, and categorized just like you would with your regular bank transactions. If you have a transfer in your checking account, it will match what you already have downloaded and will show Matched like in the video. I hope this helps. -Karey

I can certainly see how much of a difference it would make for companies like yours if you could add photos to invoices. However, at this time, it's a product limitation. Hi Cathy, you can view the Register from the Dashboard by clicking Go To Registers under the Bank Accounts tile. You can resort the Register by clicking Date at the top of the column. I hope this helps. -Karey

However, a Global QuickBooks Online version works with various third-party apps that may accept international payments. Hi Tiffany. That's a great question. Depending on what type of QuickBooks Payroll you decide to use, you may have a per-employee fee along with your regular payroll subscription costs. You would see those charges in the Vendor Center under Intuit or QuickBooks Payroll. However, you won't see any charges from your employee's bank accounts in your QuickBooks. This is because you authorized Intuit QuickBooks to deposit into an account, so QuickBooks and your bank handle those charges, not the employee's bank. I hope this helps clarify. -Karey

Hi Brenda. Some banks let you download the last 90 days of transactions. Others can go back as far as 24 months. However, if you need to bring more transactions in, you may be able to manually upload those transactions you're missing. You can turn on the automation for QuickBooks to add new vendors by going to the bank transactions list, clicking the Gear icon above the Actions column, and clicking the Radio button beside the Add New Vendors option. I appreciate you reaching out about the upload process. As seen in the video, your categories should automatically be suggested after you upload your manual transactions. However, If you don't see them suggested automatically, you may need to turn the suggestions on. You can do that by clicking the Gear icon above the Action column, then check marking the box that says "Enable suggested categorization." If you don't want to use the suggested categories, you can leave them disabled and create rules. You may not have this option if you aren't listed as a Company Admin or if you have an Accountant Company and aren't listed as your client's Company Admin.
