It turned out to be a blessing in disguise. It turned out he had had a child by another woman and left them to find someone else. I refuse and reject being an interloper to any other woman’s child, and I refuse to be a polygamist’s wife or get involved with a divorced man. He made his bed, he should lie in it.

true but it's hard when you develop feelings, got rejected like a week ago, and i said I liked her to one of her friends like 7 months ago and we started off at first good,she seemed interested but I am the introverted traditional type (Live in algeria so it's pretty normal to be traditional about it , but in my situation I was really shy around her) so I told her that I get shy around you and we probably need to talk more in text as she expected me to talk to her and such ,and that my intention is to engage hopefully in a few years from now and wanted each other to be in touch until we get comfortable ,like each other in the process, idk if she was interested at first but she I think she was, but since the difference in character the situation went down hill she doesn't talk to people much but she isnt the shy type she is reserved is all she has a different character than me ,those few months were hell to me I went through hard times to figure out whether she likes me or not cause she didnt say anything or ever talked to me or engaged in with me she was waiting for me to talk most likely ,I got out of my way and help her in her work in class as we work with computers most of the times ,but still I couldn't figure out if she liked me or not cause I wanted to be sure and I asked her a couple of time throught the months. after all of it I told her good bye like 2 months ago I started missing her since she changed the class I was in beacause the semester has ended and they put her in the same class I was in and she got seperated from her best friends (girls) It cooled off for a while .and a week and a half ago ,I talked to her friend to tell her that I wanted to talk to her since I can't contact her and since the classes are different we get different subjects in different days of the week so unlikely to meet, she blocked me on instagram as well as I found out afterwards . like 3 days after I asked her out she started ghosting my messages for the excuse of her not using insta much and such as she doesn't , but still you would make effort for a person you're interested in if they wanted to talk on text and to get to know each other, it seemed that I missed that part and was on delusional mode the whole time . Anyways when I told her friend to tell her that I wanted to talk to her, I had infact bought her a gift for her birthday since her birthday was like a week after and put a little message there , a paper to tell her my intentions , my feelings and my goals in the future with her, I got out of class from an exam early and waited for her for like 10 minutes she got out of class with her friends, went and asked if i can talk to her , she came and I went and got her the gift, she said ,''No I refuse'' about the gift, I put it in a bag she had been carrying anyways and she said '' I don't wanna give you hope" and i froze for a moment not knowing what to say tbh then I asked her if she blocked me on insta cause I was suspicious if she blocked me or closed off her insta , she replied'' yes I did, and I blocked a bunch of people including you'', then I just told her to read the message and left ,The three days after that felt really hard I couldn't do anything , I still struggle with the rejection now but not as much. Next time I am never confessing unless I am 100 % sure the person I like liked me back. It's hard cause you start loving a person after the interest develops after a few months. But fuck it , is it what it is.

There's a girl that I like at my workplace and when I got rejected by her, most of me has moved on. But at the same time, a part of me still likes her.
While it's hard to fully move on, one has to. Like the guy said, there is a chance that your crush will come back to you. But that is not guaranteed. I have friend that had a heart of steel he loved some girl and she wouldn't want to be with him. But he kept telling me I'm going to get her it took a while and guess what he's married to that girl he chased for a long time. I think so. I got rejected by someone but it was under unusual circumstances and maybe I rushed her into making a decision. A few years later we're still in touch. I see her on a deeper level and I think we have a mutual connection. As God put it wisely - "For the Lord God of Israel says that He hates divorce, for it covers one's garment with violence," says the Lord of hosts. God hates divorce. It is treachery to divorce one's spouse (Malachi 2:13-16), as Jeremiah 3:20 illustrates.
"Surely, as a wife treacherously departs from her husband, so have you dealt treacherously with Me, O house of Israel," says the Lord. (Jeremiah 3:20)
God calls it treachery and violence. Why? To begin with, it rips apart flesh.
But from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female. For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh; so then they are no longer two, but one flesh. (Mark 10:6-8)
Marriage creates a union between a male and a female so that they are no longer two, but one flesh. When divorce hits, it violently rips this union apart, a union that is designed to die only when one of the partners dies (e.g. Romans 7:2-3; 1 Corinthians 7:39).
Moreover, divorce does violence to the vow before God, that is, the marriage commitment (see Proverbs 31:2, "son of my vows"; Malachi 2:14, "wife by covenant"). Moreover, if one is married to an unbeliever who is unwilling to live with them and then who departs, the unbeliever is the one to blame for the divorce. The unbeliever is the one who has separated what God had joined together (Matthew 19:6) by refusing to live with their spouse and they will be held accountable for it.
Finally, divorce typically leads to adultery, as Christ said, "whoever divorces his wife for any reason except sexual immorality causes her to commit adultery" (Matthew 5:32). Jesus does not say, "If sexual immorality is committed, it is OK in the sight of God to divorce your spouse for such an act," or anything like this. Jesus addresses the issue of adultery, and how this is being committed in divorce and remarriage. He does not address when it is right, or OK, in the sight of God to divorce your spouse. He answered this issue earlier in verse 6 with, "what God has joined together, let not man separate" (Matthew 19:6). In other words, it is not right in the sight of God to divorce your spouse. The command from Christ is basically, "Do not get a divorce." Any man (or woman) who separates a marriage is going directly against the words of Christ (Mark 10:9).
In conclusion, divorce covers one's garments with violence (Malachi 2:16) and how it is treacherous (Malachi 2:14-16; Jeremiah 3:20). Yet, for some, it would seem that divorce is almost a virtue or reward. The practice of divorce is quite common today both in the secular world and the realm that falsely calls itself Christian. Whether it's a secular divorce or a "Christian" divorce, Psalm 119:158 well describes a godly perspective on the matter.

this is wrong. Im female, and the amount of women in a man's circle has nothing to do with if I want him back. I never want any guy back, if I rejected...I HAVE A DAMN REASON! Nah most of the time when y'all reject us it's for multiple reasons, let's say we do the same sport and train in the same gym even at that point it's for multiple reasons, but let's say the other females from the gym and from the sport are openly talking to the guy. I can tell you that the girl who rejected him will hate that deep down inside and will always try to talk again with him or try to interrupt all of the conversations he has like nothing happened, i'm totally against doing things on purpose to get back to a person. But if it happens like i was saying there is not much you can do about that.

Met a cute guy on instagram, we talked a bit.
after a few days of little messaging i asked him out and he said no.
HOWEVER
about a week after that , we started talking more and more on instagram, about like an hour and a half a day.
he said he's glad he met me, and that im a super funny guy,
and in general we talk a lot now and i dont know what to do now.
