This is sort of a safe zone I think, to talk abt this. So my prof specialized in psychology and my uni has this system where we can get some free counseling sessions until we have to pay for them and I have pretty bad headspace and a lot of issues going on so I signed up, I went on one session with him. For the first time in my life, and I'm not exaggerating, I feel like I was heard and understood. It would have been fine if every thing was normal after that but unfortunately, I always had little bit of an interest in him but not to a crush extent. And after that one counseling session, it went on to develop more and more until it turns out to be a full blown infatuation. Since this is a free counseling and with him being super busy, I have not yet had a second session, it has been around 5-6 months. By now, I thought this infatuation would have gone away but it's still here, going strong lmao. And I'm scared that whenever I have a second session with him, he could tell and it would be so awkward. Also, Idk whether this correlates to anything or not but he said one of my possible diagnoses was ADHD and it has been known that ppl with ADHD tends to have hyper fixation on many things, and that include a person. So, maybe this is what it is?? I'm not sure.

Also same kind of guy has women "friends" as if they were guy friends, same thing diluting the intimacy. You are emotionally present and responsible, he partially present and highly irresponsible emotionally and morally. This is the same kind of guy who when he needs a tool or some item once, he buys it and then returns it when he's done. No morals. And you'd be shocked to know how many also enjoy having you on edge about it. He and his ex get a little power trip thrill from it. Walk away, I don't care how he/she tries to explain it if you ask. As a woman I want to confirm it - yes, girls and women very easily create platonic friendships. Those of us, who are "tomboyish" feel much more comfortable around men than other women. And yeah, that creates lots of problems, because our feelings get deeply hurt, when someone gets offended by being "friendzoned". Making guys our friends is way we express deep appreciation for that person. Honestly, I wonder why it's so difficult to guys to have platonic friendships with us. It's a win-win situation, actually. I blocked him a month later after him rejecting me.. I was so tired of ongoing inconsistent communication for almost 8 months... What should I do? I recently started talking to this guy and he told me he likes me. I like him too and everything was great, no kiss no sex because we takes stuff slowly and also I am currently living at his family place since we are family friend (just starting talking one month ago).
