Tbh I think if he repeats this season in the league that would be good enough. Brand new guy and a ton of change. I think top four would be a really fair solid start to his time at anfield. A good cup run or two wouldn't do any harm either. But let's not expect too much.

Loser's mentality. You'll say the same for his 2nd season. Mark my words. Because then Van Dijk, Salah, Robertson, Trent (?) will be leaving, Alisson will be a year older, blah blah blah. The excuses will be never ending. Already 4 years and counting without a League Title. That's 5 years without the European Cup either. Have some standards. Not this Top 4 is good enough nonsense. Yikes.

Im extremely confident that we will do very well next season. Klopp is a great man and manager, but he knew it was time to leave... He knew he was no longer able to get the best out of the team.
Klopp NEVER had a great input into our tactics. First we had Buvac and then Ljinders. Klopp gave them free reign on tactics. Our best football was when Buvac left and there was this period where the artifacts of Buvac were still in the team, but they were being mixed with Ljinders new ideas and it created this perfect combination of direct goalscoring but with the ability to keep possession of the ball... But, eventually, Buvac's influence left and we now have a team that doesn't know how to counter atrack properly... We squander so many fast breaks.
I think Slot will bring back our deadly counter attacks and we will have a very good season.

We all are behind Slot 💪, as long as he get's enough backing and there is no transfer committee then we are all good. FSG and Edwards cannot go back to the days of pre Klopp when the managers had less control like in Rodgers case because ss much as Edwards has done good Klopp is probably the biggest reason as to why the club was successful. I think next season, if we can maintain top 4 with there being proof of his tactics I think it's safe to say we are in good hands. Top 4 and a decent run in the CL would be a great first season for Arne.
The international tournaments in the summer are something I'm sure he could have done without as will seriously limit his time with a large portion of the squad before the season starts, and also make any transfer business more difficult to accomplish.
The first season with a new manager is always a settler. If it goes well he can then worry about building.

Our fan base primarily consists of accountants, which explains their tendency to engage in discussions regarding the cost-effectiveness of our players, while other fans focus on winning trophies. Despite our accountant fans finding satisfaction in acquiring players at lower costs, they do not directly benefit from it. However, FSG's support extends beyond financial backing. For instance, they made significant changes, including dissolving Michael Edwards' recruitment team. This decision indicates a willingness to accommodate Klopp's preferences, underscoring his influence within the club.
FSG's understanding of our fan base is evident in their strategic approach, maintaining a narrative that emphasises that we got no money, resulting in comparatively lower financial investments than clubs like West Ham and Aston Villa. Despite Liverpool's illustrious history, which includes six UEFA Champions League trophies, second only to Real Madrid and AC Milan, not to mention the league position and domestic Cup success, those fans who perceive FSG didn't back Klopp financially. This raises the question: why haven't these fans held FSG accountable?
It appears that some fans allow emotions to cloud their judgment, failing to engage in critical analysis. This may explain FSG's emphasis on competing rather than solely focusing on winning.
Furthermore, Liverpool FC is a globally recognised football club, generating a significant portion of its revenue from global TV rights and its expansive international fan base. Criticizing the club's management without attending matches is an unfounded and baseless claim.

Liverpool gave the league away. And this’s how; the drawn games against Luton, Westham, United sum up to 6points and the bad referees decisions in the game against City, Spurs sum up to 5points and the lose against Everton and Palace sum up to 6points. All together sums up to 17points. I think this years league was ours but we due to some circumstances we lost it. The good thing’s we have a very good team all we need is 3 quality signings and with the right psyche approaching next season we can win the epl. Benitez won the UCL in his first season so Slott can also do it. All we need is a quality CB, DM and a forward. If we had won against Palace we would saying different thing by now. Going into next season we’ve a lot of things to learn from being it players psyche, game management, referees and VAR and how to approach each game with this the sky will be the limit.

Reflecting on Klopp's era evokes a bittersweet feeling, not solely because of its success, but because of the colossal unfulfilled potential. The cracks in the system and the gradual decline were glaringly obvious, impossible to ignore. While skepticism about FSG as owners lingered from the start, time only validated those doubts. However, my perspective shifted towards Klopp's management from the 2020-21 season onwards. It began to resemble the Benitez era, marked by an overbearing sense of authority. Klopp's growing arrogance and unwillingness to heed advice led to the abrupt end of his 20-year friendship with Zelko Buvac (the brain) and the exodus of key personnel from Michael Edwards' team. This erosion of talent severely impacted the team's performance and tarnished Klopp's legacy. Despite unwavering support from FSG, it was clear they were too afraid to say no to him, knowing full well how much the LFC fans love him. If Klopp even hinted that FSG weren't listening to him, fans would have driven FSG across the pond for good. Klopp seemed reluctant to request essential reinforcements for key positions. The over-reliance on a handful of players such as VVD, AR, MS, TAA, Fabinho, and Henderson was glaring, especially given Klopp's demanding style of play. The lack of depth on the bench was not just evident; it was alarming. It's confounding why Klopp failed to address this issue. It seemed as though he had forgotten his role as the manager of Liverpool FC, instead focusing on his sway over FSG. This shift in power dynamics led to a situation where accountability became elusive, akin to the behavior of dictators.
