Years ago I met your Dad (Big fan on his take on Asian food) on a flight I was working. He was so gracious when I asked him to give me a tip on how to pan fry boneless fish without loosing most of it on the pan from sticking but not using too much oil. He said just lightly flour the fillet first :)) Really grateful for the tip then. You both have great chemistry!
Lightly flour and also proper pan heat and proper pan. Take a back end of a spoon and lightly press to keep flat as soon as you fire it. Also that flour helps keep it together if you have a delicate fish.

I love watching you guys SO much!!! I love how you guys have such fun together and the foods tuns out amazing and beautiful!! I'm always just absolutely mesmerized!!
@NatetheNorthman you managed to make yourself look dumb twice in one sentence. Not only because your dense-self brought a verb to a noun fight, but also because you think the ethnic legitimacy of the food negates the time they're having with each other.
@@jasonlewis4602 My dad's a retired chef, but even if you got good food at home, when you're a kid you don't really want to eat home cooked meals and still want to eat out.. Heck, I'm still the same.. I'm kinda addicted to eating out, even if it's not good, just the fact that it's "out" makes me want it.
I've never seen fried rice like that before. The panda express fried rice was what I expected, but your dad saying "this is what I grew up with" amazed me. If I had what he had, I'd be furious about the lack of veggies in pandas fried rice. I can only imagine the flavors.. until I cook it for myself.
Has anyone else just randomly stumbled on this? This is awesome, you and your dad are fricken great! This is a prime example of a father and son just enjoying life and having a good time. Please don't stop making these

Kinda the name of the game when it comes to cookware in general. usually higher price stuff (if you know what to look for and arent just buying SOLELY based on price) is EXTREMELY high quality and also sometimes very niche...like some utensils or tools used in cooking may only be used in a few things but are also extremely pricey.

I would hope at this point, with the wealth of information out there, that nobody thinks of those places as chinese or mexican. Maybe I’m giving people too much credit but most Americans just view it as fast food. It’s its own animal and nothing to do with authentic cuisine.

@NatetheNorthman you managed to make yourself look dumb twice in one sentence. Not only because your dense-self brought a verb to a noun fight, but also because you think the ethnic legitimacy of the food negates the time they're having with each other.
@NatetheNorthman You’re probably some kid so I’ll forgive the ignorance but I hope if you decide to have kids that you dont carry this same attitude.
@NatetheNorthman I feel sorry for your kids
Damnnnnnnnnn 😭😭
"WAP. It's an acronym. Do you want to guess what it means?"
"No"
This man is a gift. A gift!
Enjoy these times with your dad be great full for the time and treasure those moments. It’s a joy to watch and it reminds me of my time with my dad.
Your dad is a beast in that kitchen! More than happy to “surprise” to this channel!
imagine growing up with a dad that's an iron chef.
Dude eating out must suck!
The only exception to the “we have food at home meme”
my biggest fantasy
@@jasonlewis4602 My dad's a retired chef, but even if you got good food at home, when you're a kid you don't really want to eat home cooked meals and still want to eat out.. Heck, I'm still the same.. I'm kinda addicted to eating out, even if it's not good, just the fact that it's "out" makes me want it.
Imagine growing up with a dad...
Your father is cool. He really knows his food.
Im binge-watching your vids. Just discovered your channel. Your dad's the best! Always a fan! Thanx for your content.
Please don't stop making these
Wasn't random to me, Uncle Roger did a review of this video and instantly fell in love!
I think your father has taught me more about cooking by accident then any other cooking guy on YT. Love the channel
You deserve millions of subscribers. Great channel, dad and son duo is so heartwarming. 🙏
You guys are amazing. Your relationship with your dad does with the food. She’s amazing guys are awesome. Thank you. Keep it up awesome
PLEASE DEDICATE THIS CHANNEL TO YOUR DAD'S COOKING.
For those of you wondering about the skillet he fried to noodles in, that's a enamel coated cast iron pan. They are super expensive, but you get what you pay for.
mine got stolen years ago. i havent been the same since :(
@@Gastroboi I'm so sorry to pry but would you please share the story? I'm imagining you're cradling your enamel coated cast iron pan while walking down the street and it is yanked out of your arms by a stranger and they run away at full speed.
@@uwu-on7gz I just couldn't run fast enough T-T.
Lol nothing that dramatic. I suspected an old housemate took it when she moved out. That bitch.
@@Gastroboi damn...not so dramatic but very traumatic...rip
Kinda the name of the game when it comes to cookware in general. usually higher price stuff (if you know what to look for and arent just buying SOLELY based on price) is EXTREMELY high quality and also sometimes very niche...like some utensils or tools used in cooking may only be used in a few things but are also extremely pricey.
Such awesome videos! Thank you so much for your channel! 🤗❤️
The dynamic between you two is dope🎯
man.. that last scene where you two were eating together.. you guys seem to be like really good friends. Even tho I never had a dad, I'm happy to see when someone has it. Wish you and your dad nothing but the best. And yea, I subscribed :D
Ohhh my lord 🙇🏽♀️🙇🏽♀️🙇🏽♀️ I am 31 years old, and your father has inspired me in so many ways as a kid. When I look at my degree I see all the Culinarians faces I looked up to, especially my Abuelita ❤️🔪. I’m glad I stumbled upon your video 🙏🏽💃🏽
So awesome to see this level of bond between you 2. Oh and the food stuff is great too 😊
your dad was my favorite iron chef. he is such a inspiration to people.
I think it’s so nice you’re doing stuff like this with your dad that you can look back at in years and even show his grandchildren. Technology and platforms like CZcams makes us immortal in some ways. I think it’s beautifully and you’ll be grateful you have documented your life like this
Your dad doesn’t know what wap is. So pure and innocent.
wack ass panda(express) :^)
Iron chef Dad seems so cool! You can tell he's a wonderful man and father. And he's an awesome chef for sure!
I love how when you click on Jets videos from Recently theyre all about the boys. When you click on popular videos what pops up is all about Susar, the Dad. Let's face it anything with him in it is gold! From his talent his personality is dimples AND The love for his sons! The way he doesn't mind looking silly in front of his kids, when he can't pronounce a lot of words it's all just gold every part of him is great, you cant go wrong with Susar! Is Iron Chef Persona just dissipates and he just turns into your normal average everyday loving dad! 5 STAR!
2:56 Agreed. I feel like Panda Express is to Chinese food as Taco Bell is to Mexican food. American commercial food
So what we still eat it. The fuck you think we are all elitist and wont touch it?? Please
I would hope at this point, with the wealth of information out there, that nobody thinks of those places as chinese or mexican. Maybe I’m giving people too much credit but most Americans just view it as fast food. It’s its own animal and nothing to do with authentic cuisine.
@@jonnyfendi2003 to each their own😂 I don’t eat PE but every once in a blue I eat Taco Bell. But majority of the time I’m going to an authentic place. And elitist? You made a little deeper than it was. At no point did I say people who love it are less than bruh. I was mainly agreeing with what his pops said about these type of fast food places.
@@cobrakaiX that’s basically what I was saying but I guess I worded it weird. But there definitely still is a lot of people who still think those are legit representations. I know some. 😂🤦♂️
@@jonnyfendi2003 How is pointing out that it's not actually Chinese food elitist? You're using that phrase completely wrong for one. Two, all he said is it's commercialized, which it is. Relax.
