Great episode guys. i much prefer this format. Short 5 min discussion on each game with some pictures rather than handicam. It is much clearer and easy to follow while painting. love it. Also congrats on the performance, awesome to see woodies getting some further successes.
Thanks! On the road to 2k now! Let the theory hammer and list building commence!
I enjoyed the talk through with the slides, you both managed it well enough that I always felt like I knew exactly what was happening. One thing that would be really cool if you have the technology to do it is that any time you mention a particular rule or item it would be nice to see a graphic displaying the actual rule or item description. Great job on your podiums and fantastic looking armies!
Thanks! Glad it was clear, thank the TO, he took the vast majority of the photos. Will definitely look at overlays for the future.
That overlay is a cracker of an idea!!!
great report boys!
Thanks Henry, looking forward to seeing your Greenskins!
Very enjoyable. I much prefer this format, especially when covering a tournament.
Nice.
But it would have helped if you had had your armylist clearly written down somewhere early. Just a 5 sec slide. You do go trough SOME of the units, but not all. Like, whats on your dragon? Are those scouts or waywatchers? Etc
Great discussion gentlemen! Man…lots of “herohammer/monsterhammer going on in the meta.
Yeah at the higher end of the meta for sure. I think tournaments bring it out of people, it was great fun to come up against all those monsters! As I said in the video, I've played Pete (my third opponent) a few times before at the club and we've not felt the urge to bring out the dragon until the tournament.
A dragon at 1250............. hahaha great job.
💀
😬
For me the more laughable thing is the Green Knight at 1250! 😂
Lost interest at 1250pts.
Also, you actually took a Dragon at that points level? 😳💀
There's quite a bit of that in the local meta, as I said it wasn't the only dragon and plenty of other monsters around. We've been really enjoying these lower points games, at least it means I could only take 1 dragon 😝
If its a tournament, then you are playing more competitivly, and not playing a friendly game with your mates. So why NOT bring a dragon?
1250pts can fit a dragon + a lvl2 with Oaken Rod.
Also, this early on 1250pts seems reasonable. I could just (literaly) dust of my old WE. But my group has about 6 players. All other 5 are building up new armies so havent got the minis yet.
