THANKS!
I'd recommend homoerotic tension on rice - it should be easy to make, you guys already have all the ingredients 😂
😅😅😅
😏
🤣🤣🤣🤣 awesome
15:44 lol, it was so fitting to your comment
😂😂😂😂😂😂
For me, it would have to be dal. All types of lentils work beautifully with the spices and rice. Definitely a delicious combination that just happens to be healthy at the same time.
Facts
It’s not healthy though cos true dal you need the tarka which involves a lot of ghee
@@Akm_699 While I agree that a tadka full of ghee and spices is delicious, when I make dal at home I don’t add that much ghee. That may make my dal not authentic or whatever, but I don’t care, it’s tasty to me, fills me up, is budget/ friendly, and is easily made from items that are always in my pantry.
The best thing to put on white rice is in fact even more white rice…
True
We've found the asian
Actually I‘m english and russian and indian and french😂 so there is in fact a bit asian
@@maibrown2755 half asian
but thats cap
Spoken like a true asian 🤝🏼
Unironically, I loved the editing. Some bits were truly hilarious. Good job!
The only correct answer is Pad Kaprao (Thai holy basil stir-fry) with runny Kai Dao.
My favorite thing to put on top of white rice is slow cooked porkchops in cream of mushroom soup.
Pat dry and season 3 to 4 porkchops with salt and pepper, whatever else you may want, then brown both sides in a pan with a bit of olive oil.
In what’s left of the olive oil and rendered pork fat sauté a small diced onion and some mushrooms, once those are cooked turn down the heat a bit.
Stir in two cups of condensed cream of mushroom soup and a 1/2 cup of chicken broth and mix that all together. I usually season with salt, pepper, umami seasoning, and rosemary.
Add your porkchops, cover them in the soup mix and let them simmer on a low heat for about 20 minutes, flip the porkchops about halfway through. Chops should be spoon tender.
You can definitely size down the recipe as my portions feed myself and my partner and leave extra for leftovers
What would you recommend as a substitute soup for someone who doesn't like mushrooms ?
You have fantastic comedic timing, improv; camera and interpesonal chemistry. Lovely - and informative - vid!
I'm loving this goofy energy
Thanks! You have really helped me better my kitchen game!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Only suggestion I have (other than getting out of your sponsorship deal with better help) is add dried cranberries to the yogurt/rice and mix it all together.
Easy, fast, tasty breakfast.
i never thought of yogurt and rice lol idk how i'd feel about it lmao
@@highdefinition450 it's like rice pudding with fruit in it. Really tasty.
@@RamenNoodle1985 do you have the rice cold or warm for this?
@@jjnrmasonI mix the yogurt in while the rice is warm, so it stays soft. Sometimes eat it warm, sometimes toss it in the fridge for the morning.
@@highdefinition450 Greek here, adding yoghurt on rice is normal here😂
0:06 my first recommendation was the egg, scallion, and chili oil. Love that chili crisp, I use it on everything. And love you two guys together, you’re so funny and great! Keep those videos coming ❤
I have bought your book lately, its great! Love from Poland
this one chill ass epsiode
I love this type of vibe
Love you guys as a cooking/comedic duo.
I needed this I was just about to make white rice topped with some beans
That was the smoothest transition to a sponsor ever
I love yall friendship so much 😂
i love you dude, you never fail to fill us up
How stoned were they when they made this?
I like spinach sautéed with garlic and sesame oil, fried egg and a pinch of sesame or my fake furikake which is a mix of sesame, dried herbs, lemon pepper, crushed peanuts, smoked paprika and chilli flakes
Wake up, it’s time for a new KWOOWK video !
Yessir
YESSIR
Rice + diced boiled eggs, mayo, diced crab sticks, corn + seasoning = Boom, balls right off
Love seeing you guys taste test food together~
I've been eating korean marinated eggs on rice for about a week. I'm absolutely obsessed.
For me it’s lotus roots fried in chili oil and egg and green onion.
I love cold sticky jasmine rice with sea salt on it 😋! Also love roast chicken drippings drizzled over rice with a little salt to taste. You guys are *HYSTERICAL!* 😅
Here are my top 5:
1. Nigerian egusi (melon seed) soup with bitter leaf and smoked Turkey, eru and Nigerian dried crayfish.
2. Nigerian egg "egg stew" (similar to shakshuka).
3. Geotjeori that's been in the fridge for at least four hours.
4. Wasabi seaweed plus maggi and Nigerian stew with smoked salmon.
5. Ful Mudammas and stewed lamb.
Where did you get Wasabi in Nigeria cos I've never seen one here before
@@actionboi05Hi there! I actually don't live in Nigeria but U-Buy looks mostly trustworthy for buying online and if you're anywhere near Lekki there's an Asian market near there where you might have a shot of finding some. Also...sesame roasted seaweed or wasabi flavoured seaweed is fantastic too.
Kwook I know you will love this it is just heavenly put kidney beans in your shakshuka and eat over rice.
Any type of curry also of course goes crazy.
thanks for the food recomendations in copenhagen. Im going to eat at bæst tonight it better live up to your hype!
$4 for kewpie mayo?? I gotta move, it's $8.99 at my local grocery store...
I just bought a bottle for 11$ 😭
Pls try dal tadka, it'll taste amazing!!! Or literally any indian lentils recipe
Childhood favorites include: mushroom gravy, curried veggies, cheese with broccoli, or meatballs with pasta sauce. Rice pudding is also tasty.
Definitely try colby/jack cheese shredded, chopped cooked chicken, and salsa...also some green onions if you have them.
4:35 you have no idea how funny this is yo a Dutchie😂
my go-to is always black beans, fried egg, and salsa roja (with avocado sometimes)
We bengali have amazing traditional rice food call panta that's so popular in here(it's also white rice food and so spicy)
When is Kevin and Benji going to take their relationship to the next level 😂
Almost anything can go on or with white rice, its so amazing.
That's exactly what I needed
I have a tuna-and-rice dish I copied from Star-Kist's website during the 2020 lockdowns... with a few personal modifications it's pretty good and still something I make four years later! Never thought of adding mayonnaise, though, no matter what country it comes from. O.o
try sambaar its a lentil soup with tamrind and veggetables spices with some aromatics and you can experiment with side dishes like vegetables fry .
Great style & humor, it reminded me of early Tim & Eric
I recommend 'bumbu pecel', peanut sauce with chilli, like satay ayam sesasoning
I have seen someone doing strawberry yogurt on rice. I haven't watched this video but I have high hopes for it.
bro try peeli dal , sambhar , dal makhani
You forgot the best thing to put on rice, which is Bamia-tomato stew with lots of lemon juice. This is the best thing to put on rice on the middle east. So simple, but soooo good! plus, it is basically the healthiest dish I can think on.
10:45 Kevin: can I have blueberry? Benji: *RELEASE THE KRAKEN*
but over rice? apple, butter, sugar, cinnamon
Best of all worlds: Apple Butter on rice
This sounds totally DELISH !😊
😯
This is a Haitian dish. I put something called sos pwa (well my mother makes it) in the rice. It also comes with chicken sauce, it has chicken, onions, peppers, and other seasoning. It tastes so damn good
"I'm into that" 😂
Omg i didn’t know u were taking in suggestions for this wasn’t active in Instagram. TRY MOR KUZHAMBUUU! it’s a(SOUTH) Indian yoghurt based stew. It’s comfort in the form of stew. I just loveeeeeee it. Like most of the South Indian dishes, it’s not really a familiarised/hyped like a chicken tikka masala or butter chicken. Make mor kuzhambu with okra if u can find, if you can’t you can use ash gourd aka white pumpkin. If you can’t find neither just make it as it. Unlike most Indian stews this one’s subtle with the spice probably because it’s made with yoghurt.
Sounds delicious. I will in fact look for it.
@@nicolechafetz3904 nice! Let me know if you need clarification related to it💃🏻
@@Hisfmikko may I ask a question please? I have recently posted a question on my Facebook page in my cooking group in Facebook. I am a type two diabetic, whose blood sugar has recently run out of control! My blood sugar is four times what it should be, what is normal.
I’m looking for foods that can be loaded with vegetables and are low carb.
Do you know what the carbohydrates are in a serving of the soup, roughly?
@@nicolechafetz3904 so I recently started to count my calories, so I roughly calculated macronutrients in an online calculator by uploading ingredients and it says 23.3g/ serving idk if it’s low card or not 👀 also about veggies part if you can find okra or white pumpkin you can add loads of them. If you can’t find I can do a little research on what alternative veggie which is available to you would give the same texture. Let me know!
@@Hisfmikko thank you so much for doing that. I have a work for me. I’m overwhelmed my my recent blood sugars! This is low carb!!!
That blueberry throw was personal lmao
15:20 makes a lot of sense. Some dishes are better if it’s a once in a while thing but other dishes can be better if it’s eaten regularly.
Indian food and Thai food I absolutely love as a once in a while dish but I couldn’t eat those dishes more than once a week
not surprised the strawberry yogurt rice tastes nice there is a dessert called ''sütlaç'' from Turkey you make it by cooking rice in sugary milk and stuff
the chemistry is crazy
Oh God now I feel your videos are incomplete without Benji. Love you guys!!
You should try Fasolia white bean stew. It is a simple lebanese recipe !
laoganma on it's own is a classic topping. whenever I have leftover rice from a meal, I always cover it with laoganma and eat it all
Try daal with bhendi(Okra) fry(deep fried and crispy) next time(Indian dish). You will have a flavor blast
you should try making different types of kimchi!!
That kiss was personal. 😂
I need too know what goes well on brown rice now :))))
I'm so happy the fried egg won, it's simple and always hits the spot
Thanks was just standing in my kitchen and had the pasta queens voice in my head: the ingridience! Rice, spring onion and.... Blanc. The you dripped the Video 😅
I love mushrooms sautéed in butter then topped with a crispy fried egg.
Such a goofy and chaotic video LOL
Im . Watching this while high and it’s so hilarious because I can’t tell if the editing is real or me high
I was so worried when i didnt see benji in the beginning ❤❤😂😂
I love your videos I just wish you had chapters in the videos, other than that keep up the work!!!
A can of tuna packed in olive oil with fresh lemon juice and some hot sauce and a glass of iced tea
nice vid, but put some music on the background though
Add lentils soup (With onions chili toamto peices) Indian style with boiled potato pieces (not mashed but soft and bite sized) mized with chili powder, tumeric powder, fennel seed powder, coriander leaf powder and garam masala can also add turmeric puree as per taste. Not a cook just a Indian teenager with love for food
i don’t think anything can really beat egg scallion soy sauce and furikake tbh
soya sauce and sesame oil , mix through the rice. Add raw scallions and ground pepper
Cubano rice. Fried banana, tomate sauce, fried egg and pancetta
I love rice, egg (poached or fried), amd sesame oil. My son like it with hoisin sauce (as with my husband), and my daughter will only only ever have white rice. 😅 Rice is such an amazing grain.
You really should tried the mongolian beef. Trust me. That + hot rice is perfection (fit super well for people who cannot stand spicy)
As a person that eat rice every day,I have tried so many great things to put on rice
Butter and Black Pepper ❤
Ooooohhh, I could go for some pork adobo or chicken teriyaki on rice rn 🤤
Have a happy day !
Sounds like a good series to make.
You missed a fried egg on your chili con carne rice.
Seriously though, you should check with Asians what to top white rice. Try some chicken / pork adobo.
In Germany there is something called ‘Milchreis’, which is basically a creamy yogurt with rice, topped with chocolate or strawberry or anything else similar.
So, strawberry yogurt isn’t really out of place here
😭😭😭
Stewed chicken and gravy is my top pick.
simple is fried tofu + fish souce or u can add some onion
I absolutely recommend nattō, green onions, and raw egg :)
Rose petals and plantain bananas, a tin of heinz beans, or a packet of cornflakes ,
chocolate ice cream,
olive oil and salt,
butter an lemon,
and to add colour
a gold fish from the gold fish bowl with some plankton.
Yo! I know I won't get a reply but I dig you idea of making videos of "making stuff you have never made before"! Do it all like cheese, milk, seasoning blends, olives oil etc
My all-time favorite way to eat white rice is with Kosher salt & a lot of dill. Simple & delicious.
Probably would be good to add lemon to that
i like beef rendang for my rice topping.
Best things to put on rice: Salmon and nori seaweed
I’d totally combine the tuna one with the egg
parmesan on rice is a slayyyy
Just put tuna in its own sauces with it and add corn can and you re gut to go :) takes only the time of cooking the rice.
Chili goes good on any carb
you should’ve also added sriracha on the tuna mayo
The best thing to put on rice is ofcour Dal, and may be with some sabzi and achaar. Ofcourse Chicken or Paneer Curry is another bomb.
Salt would be pretty good on rice
watching this w my rice topped w fried tofu and tempe, lalepan and sambal 🦶
