You are 100% responsible for your own results, your own ability to learn, implement and succeed in business and in life.
Starting or growing any business is inherently risky, it requires a huge amount of work and time. For some reason your comment gave me the impression you have been mostly freelancing wihtout much 9 to 5 work experience in an office. As somebody who is currently learning to code I would, of course, go for a traditional career shift with a 9 to 5 on-site job, but, hey, I don't wanna write off freelancing -although in the beginning I will not have any previous experience (can have a portfolio though)
So any tips and advices in that direction would be great. I also took in consideration your response to Adhishek. Myabe your upcoming channel would be of help for me, so I will stay tuned. Maybe I should dig in Alexander's videos as well.

Hi Aleksander! How I wish I've known your vlogs sooner. This is really great! Thank you so much. However, is it necessary that when you're starting to become a web developer, you really need to niche down? For example, my first client would be from a food business. Should I focus on delivering websites about food business? I'm really curious on this one because I'm a little bit confused.

    • @AleksanderVitkin

You don't need to sell to a specific type of client like "food business client" when selling on Upwork. Sell a specific type of website instead built on a specific platform.

      Certifications.

Depends on what you want to do. This is an old comment so maybe you figured it out but you can get certs at any time. There's nothing stopping you from getting the degree and then also getting certs and that will of course be even more competitive.
If you want to do web development certs aren't going to matter much compared to a degree and more importantly a solid portfolio with well polished projects in javascript and some javascript framework of your choice.
Something like security or networking jobs are more cert oriented. Depends on you.

Fundamentally the automated extraction of data out of any website/public facing resource is illegal. Otherwise the company/product would've given its customers an API.
But everybody seems to do it like it's no problem at all.
