Funny that you mention putty knives. Ten years back...or so, Sherwin Williams sold a stainless putty knife with blue handles. They were made in the USA and I can't find them anywhere these days. I'm looking high and low at yard sales.
Yes nice scrapers ...cant beat the old wood with brass on the hunt myself. Nice grab hard to find. Got a question on 974 Parker vise. I just picked one up at an estate sale and going to give it a go to lightly restore. One item I may be over my head is one of the jaws is missing. Other wise just alot of old paint and dings. Slide works well. Any suggestions on jaws. Know there are no after market parts. Are there machine guys that build a new pairs. Ony need one but hey.
A machinist could do it but he’d need the vise to match fit the jaws. If you can find another vise of the same make and model but maybe is disrepair you might get lucky in the jaws fitting.
Love those Craftsman ratchets!
Yeah they are pretty sweet!. I need the 1/2 in version now.
always good content, thanks
Thank you Marcus!
Nice buys!
Thanks!!
That's a nice Vaughn rounding hammer. Put that flatter to use!
I definitely plan on using them both!!! Really love the hammer. It’s now my favorite!
