I'm in Thailand for my vacations.. Things to take before coming to Thailand 1.take international driving permit (IDP) : Call any RTO operator ( Dalla) near your area.. He will take 2000 for normal IDP and rs 4000 for tatkaal in which you'll get IDP in 1day. if you have time 15-20 days before your trip, you can opt for normal IDP , Dalla will tell you that normal IDP will take more time just take tatkaal , dont opt for that.thats a scam .. I got my IDP in 6 days. 2. Don't book any scooty or car online..that's very costly. Go to shop near airport or phuket main city and bargain. You'll get normal scooty at 200bhat,150 cc for 300 bhar (I got this one and this is the cheapest for 150CC Scooty),700 CC amount 700 bhat)

You can hire taxi and then taxi driver will cover all the points

We booked from our hotel so they didn’t ask for scooty and they submit original passport
