This might be the most accurate explanation given by a non-native I've ever seen! it's funny how - though the gestures are correct - I can still detect some kind of "foreign accent" :D
Grazie mille :) I appreciate the feedback ;)
Love your hair. Yes, love the gestures.
Aw, this is the one I have been looking for... I guess it was just a matter of time it would pop up on my feed! Thank you, Michele! Grazie!
Glad you enjoyed it 😊 🤌 😂
Grazie mille! Molto bene! My Uncle Joe used to say, "If you cut off my hands, I couldn't talk!" Interesting how my first generation uncles used the hand gestures when speaking English.
This is Fantastic information Michelle. Also, Your voice tone is pleasant to hear.
Thank you so much 😊
Takeaway: Italians need zoom to communicate over the internet
😂
These were great. I particularly enjoyed the ones at the end. 😂

Brava Michele. Some gestures I myself never even use !!! One small thing, if I may, in case you redo this in the future. in " ti faccio un culo cosi` " it can also be a reflective, non-threatening expression to say " I / he / she worked so incredibly for this / that ! "
Grazie mille 🤩
Right. Like "si è fatto un culo cosi".
The gesture need its perfect facial expression.
very informative thank you
My pleasure 😇

Bleeping 😊
I can’t believe my niece thought the first symbol was supposed to be a compliment to a Chef or something REALY Goood!! 😅😅😅😅 I already knew that was wrong and told her to Liston to Native or well educated Italian speakers to get proper definitions and to watch your video. I also told her that if she did the first pinecomb gesture to a Chef after a meal she would UTTERLY insult them 😂
It's funny because when i try to teach these, some people are afraid to get into trouble if they do them wrong!! I'll send them this video next time! 🌈💗😂
P.s. i love your expression with the gesture of "ma che fai?" 😂😂😂😂
Haha grazie mille ❤️❤️🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹
I must say that the second gesture is not really used ( at least in Northern Italy). About the horn gesture, you can also point it horizontally or upwards since it depends on the context ( luck or cheating meaning)
Buon Giorno Michele🌞♀️🌐🛡️🍋🍵🫖🚭🥰🥚🍳🍊
Let's not forget 'The Fig'... it's mentioned somewhere jn Shakespeare...
Hand gestures didn't come around after the fall of the Roman Empire, we spoke different languages well before that. The south of Italia, like Calabria per esempio, never spoke Latin, we spoke Greek. Standardised Italian, and Italic languages, didn't spread until well after. Hand gestures were not an introduction to solve a language issue, they are simply cultural.
What does the gesture where a guy (in this case) puts his hands under his armpits and flaps his arms like chicken wings...I'm SURE it must be obscene! I can't find it anywhere! But, I've seen it!
What does flicking your thumb with your mouth mean ?
#11 could be "Stirring the pot" = "to cause trouble or controversy, esp deliberately. Up to something"
why are they all mean? 😂 my culture finally makes sense
Is that Aussie accent?
Yes!
why is it always a bri
Forse a Roma. E neanche tanti altri gesti. (What ??) Quindi : Che cosa ?
What is that gesticulate that you used you kiss your hand "🤌" like this??
That means delicious or tasty
