Bandanna and a padlock… nothing beats it
So is a good sized ròck inside double socks also good used against a cougar or attacking dog. All survivors always say I didn't have any weapons on me to defend myself well make em
Or a bolt nut tied to a piece of Paracord 😎
I understand that not everyone is from the US but it is absolutely mind blowing that the same people who believe guns are "inhumane" are perfectly willing to instead bludgeon, cut, slice, or otherwise maim attackers while still being at a disadvantage and having to rely on physical strength to overpower them.
Guns are designed to be humane we literally asked the question “how can we one shot a cow at 25 yards?” and got the .45 in return
how many people you are able to kill in one minute using knife or baton and how many people you are able kill in minute using automatic weapon? Are you feel silly now or not?
It's not that they believe guns are "inhumane", it is that they are not afforded the opportunity to own a firearm or rifle and actually think for themselves.
People aren't against using guns for self defense. The guns most people buy for "self defense" are typically not built for that purpose but they continue to use them anyway.
@@DillonMaynard any gun can be used for self defence, or defence of one's own property, or defense of one's own loved ones. The more varieties of firearms a person owns, the more versatility you have available to you and versatility is important when you find yourself in a variety of environments and facing a potential variety of attackers. For example, if the American military ever comes for a person's guns, it would be handy to have a rocket launcher or a tank at one's disposal.

Whats really sad is that every one of those gadgets are illegal to use in self defense in the UK, including the alarm/light thing. I am not even joking.
Not quite. It is illegal to carry ANYTHING with the intent to use it as a weapon including self defence. But provided it is not a specified item (knife, many formal martial arts weapons, knuckle dusters, etc) and carried with non-violent intent then it is legal to carry AND legal to use in self defence... providing there was no preexisting intent for that.
What a faciest system
Get creative or .......
What. Why? How can an alarm & light be illegal?
So what's worse? A fine for something illegal or possible death? Sometimes you just have to take care of yourself

Well, I don`t believe you will ever need it inside an airport, but outside it might come handy.
I have one with me, a normal one when I take a walk somewhere and another one, that I can take apart, put it in my suitcase and walk around with in foreign countries.
Women just admire it, men mostly ask me if there is a knife inside (there isn`t and if it were, it would surely get me into trouble with the law), but in case I needed something to defend myself, I would not have to think twice.
Hello all, just don't forget to check the laws around your area to make sure you don't get arrested for walking around/using these contraptions. And also keep in mind that self defense is defense, not a brawl.
Pretty much
Most cops don't really care about these things so there is nothing to worry about
Yep, not everyone can legally own stuff like that even if they aren't a criminal due to a diagnosis of mental illness, people are automatically assumed to be dangerous if so, yet are very often taken advantage of more often then they are agressors.

Legal carries would be a walking cane, an umbrella and a padlock in a sock.
The only one of these that isn’t going to hurt the user more than the attacker is the baton, which IS LETHAL FORCE. Dedicated tools for self defense often have basic requirements, and if they do fall in the non lethal category are even more stringent on the requirements, and require you to be capable of using them
Strike pen to the throat is very useful.
It depends on what state you live in. I live in NY and a 4 inch pocket knife and pocket pepper spray is legal to use in self defence. Brass knuckles, switch blades, and stun guns are illegal. But the law doesn't state other nonlethal means of force.
I use the baton if some dangerous person tries to attack me. Not just crazy people, crazy stray dogs as well. One time a dog almost attacked me while i was going to work walking but thankfully the owner whistle his dog and turned his back on me. But seriously, that could of been deadly right there. And it was a rottweiler dog. Good thing I carry a baton on me this time
@@techfrank2431 batons don't stop dogs, it usually makes them attack you more. I doubt the dog was about to attack you if it could be recalled, people often misinterpret playful behavior as aggression. A dog that is about to attack someone usually can't be recalled easily.
@@AccidentallyOnPurpose well if that was the case, I should probably just guard myself then if the dog was just being playful without harming the dog. Also if the baton doesn't work, I'll just use my pocket knife then instead. But hopefully that doesn't happen. Then I won't have to use it then.
If someone is brave and keeps coming at you, they could physically overpower you, and YOU will be on the receiving end of the hat, whip, knife, etc.
If you have any knife then trust me you will not be the one going to hell if somebody keep charging to you while you have a knife
At the 5:00 mark, the collapsible baton looked pretty good.
Best legal carries that nobody bothers about are a sturdy cane and your trouser belt
The best self-defence tool ever is your pair of sneakers.

Just what I need...
Very cool
2:15 Was that supposed to be a demo for a gun disarm or a suicide by headshot? wtf?? Also that ring is the dumbest thing I've ever seen, who's gonna wear that thing?!
Agreed. The ring is stunningly stupid. Sort of thing that would have been sold in comic books, next to Count Dante and his "Dim Mak" back in the long ago.
Yes agreed as well what's next a Freddy Krueger knife glove🤣🤣😂😂😂
1. You need time to take that off, and they won’t let you take anything out before attacking you.
2. Quite literally just a fistfight, which can go either way. It will only give you a slight edge in a fight.
3. You can break your finger if you use it wrong, but it is decent overall.
4. A great weapon for the vulnerable members of society. This can kill.
5. Great. Just great. Nothing too wrong about it.
6. The pin can come off in your pockets, and it is situational. You rely on others, which would take many minutes.
7. It is quite short, but effective. A great weapon.
8. A bad weapon. It’s not much different from a fistfight.
9. It only works on the face, but it does work well.
10. Not legal in some places, and it may be weak.
11. Just get a 9mm… you know a real gun. I do agree with all your points however shooting your attacker is so much easier
The point of a siren isn't to rely on other people coming to your aid, but to exploit the fact that your attacker won't take a chance on other people _not_ coming to your aid.
@@konayasai It could encourage the attacker to go into fight or flight, which is the worst thing that could happen if you are unarmed. If they flee, great. If they'd decide to finish you off faster, or if they were not planning on killing you, but that just sets them off, that would be bad, as you could probably imagine. It is a 50/50 gamble on your life.
I'm curious, in your opinion, which weapon (here in this video of course) would be good to defend yourself against a dog attack? For example, a Rottweiler. Not small dogs since you can kick them. LOL!
@@techfrank2431 a mace. Works on people too
A wheel nut of decent size, swinging at the end of a cord not long enough to hit yourself with, would give an attacker pause. Separate them while passing security and they're just two unrelated items.
❤ love them all!
Hairspray and a lighter.
Or a wooden stick... hardened out... trust me, if the point is narrow(not sharp) it can do a massive punch(non lethal) to your attacker. A stick on your keys is legal
Even if you had the lighter and hairspray at the ready as someone is closing in on you very quickly is way to risky. At best it will freak the person out. But they can also deck you in the face quickly, taking little to no burn damage.
A sharpened, lead pencil can be very effective ... lethal, in fact ...
plus you can take it everywhere ... so far.
Despite the John Wick and Joker demonstrations, lead pencil not especially good. A cheap plastic pen will hold up better as a stabbing tool. A metal body pen is slightly better, but can be quite slippery, a few rubber bands will improve the grip but will make it look very cheesy.
Source: correction officer. Have dealt with various pen-shanks.
@@mikesharkey2010 Well, you need to get the pencil in the attacker's ear hole. Or eye.
Excellent weaponry. Left hook best
Sap cap looks like a winner.
The more useful of these gadgets are illegal in many places, the baton for example. The cap looks useful, it gives you some range and also is carried on your head, so you can slowly put your hands up as if to surrender and then quickly grab it. But I wouldn't be surprised of the cap is also illegal in some places, lead powder gloves certainly are.
What seems like the least useful to me is that Yoogo keychain. Not because it wouldn't work, but because it requires some skill to use effectively. Due to the small size it doesn't give you much range, and unlike a knife that can turn weak punches or glancing blows into cuts, you still need to hit quite hard. So you still need the skills to land punches at fistfighting range
Strike pen : litterally kills the attacker
Key chain with steel wrists : puts attacker in coma
Defensive necklace : basically a killer's knive
These things does not look legalised at all!
Strike pen - puts a stabby/owie small hole in attacker - p155es him off.
Leaf shaped knife necklace. Cutesy toy. User strangles themselves trying to get necklace off. Then uses both hands to open blade while thug stands patiently waiting. Then cuts themselves because the lock on the cheap guard doesn't hold, or that thin stress point between the blade and the guard snaps. Perhaps the attacker will pee themselves laughing and you can get away in the distraction.
Virtually every one of these are junk, stupid or illegal in most jurisdictions. Or all three.

In the UK, if you carry anything for self defence, it automatically becomes an offensive weapon.
Yep we do not have the right to carry any object for self defence and any object we use to defend ourselfs with will then be classed as an offensive weapon... I Carry a S.A.K. everyday I use it daily for whittling, fixing/repairning and well cutting etc... As long as I don't say I carry for defence I am legally allowed to carry it but if I suggest it could be for defence I can be arrested and possibly face 5 years in prison for an offensive weapon charge... FU@@@@@@ Stupid but thats how the Gov think they can stop knife crime etc...

@@fredrikhawes3387, not really, helps keep weapons off the streets. Most of our knife crime is drug/gang related, that which isn’t is often mental health related.
@@fredrikhawes3387 No it turns out when lethal purpose built weapons aren't available, less people die.
@@michaelgardiner6629, I refer to my original comment.
ANYTHING carried for the purposes of self defence is automatically an offensive weapon. Something like Farb Gel or Smart Water, used to mark but not deter an attacker is fine, but ANYTHING (not part of your person) carried for self defence that can be used to cause any type of actual harm, illegal. A big heavy torch carried & used to light your way at night, that’s fine, but said torch in daylight? Do you need it? Nope.
Also, certain items ate now illegal to own full stop, such as “brass knuckles”. Not even in your own home
That is very useful items and i like all of them but one of them i know it is illegal here in my country and that is the flashlight tazer great video.

@@jamesreisenauer1778 There are tons of countries with more gun violence than the US . Our propaganda machine of a media just wants us disarmed.
@@ShadowScoutSwede same as Australia.
Always look around when someone is about to attack and find what you can use as a weapon eg someone tries to attack you on your porch if you got a pot plant quickly grab it smash it on the ground then use the sharp bits for a weapon. If your in your lounge look around the room and see if you can break it and use it as a weapon eg glass statue , lamp
Criminals / assasins / robbers after watching this is gonna be upgraded as heck
Except for the alarm and beads everything in this video can be considered a concealed weapon and get you arrested, and flail type device 8s more dangerous to the user unless you spend time training with them.
Yeah, and most of them are lousy defense weapon, but very effective on the offense. They primarely work as an intimidation or retribution tool, but not really help you in your defense.
They have a very low stopping power, which you need for a defense weapon, but can be very harmful. Knifes are very good examples, they are almost useless when it comes to actual defense. If your attacker is not intimidated by it, he can stay in combat for several seconds if not minutes, even if mortaly wounded.
If he has a similar deadly weapon, you're dead as well.
Imagine he threatens you with a knife. You don't get intimidated by it, because you have a knife as well. Why should he be more intimidated by your knife than you are by his knife?
Then you have two people stabbig each other to death. That's not the outcome you want to have as a defender.
Don't tell them that the jail aka prison `monkeyfist´ uses a sock filled with a billard ball or plaster stone. Could trigger small penis syndrome. 🤣
@@MrFusselig Agree ! Most attackers will have weapons too these days . You can use a 'legal' screwdriver that has been sharpened , the hardware store is full of weapons ! At my age , I would prefer to 'carry' a smal 'you know what' , or a small can of pepper /bear spray that has a pwerful force to blind a thug for at least 15 minutes . BTW ...never pick up a hitchhiker , those days are over !!
@@smerchly Yes, I think pepper/bear spray is a very effective defensive tool, and probably does a way better job compared to a knife or most other stabbing weapons.
Usually the spray obstructs the attacker for a moment and gives you as the defender enough time to escape successfully.
I feel Like This Is dedicated for people who want to be attacked, But Don't want the Attacker to see The Weapon 💀

As for myself, I keep a collapsible baton and tactical whip bedside along with my (EDC) Glock 43x MOS holding 158 grain federal HST red tips.
I’m a young man and I doubt I even have anything that a burglar/home invader would want, but I’d rather not take a chance and have it/not need it. I got a family to protect at the end of the day

The Pen is cool. Maybe even the siren for women and children. But I think most of the other gadgets are only equally effective than your own fists or less reliable than self defense MMA training. I will say I had a good laugh with the Baton and Prayer Beads. Mostly because of the “Rex Kwan Do” Douche bags they had Demonstrating them 😂😂😂
Yeah that baton can bash some skulls in.
I feel like it has too many features. It should just have the glass breaker and maybe a longer blade.
I don't need to have a tiny flashlight or a bottle opener.

That knife pendant is great for chain snatching situations.

As for the cap, read up on the peaky blinders, theirs had razor blades sewn into the peak, carry a rolled up paper or magazine, use it in lieu of the baton, you can also read it whilst waiting for an ambulance to pick up your attacker
Man, i hope your a bot.
I mean what kind of man follows upskirt videos of girls?
And absolutely not, razor blades are the worst self defense weapon, you are gonna cut yourself instead of the attacker unless you make a shank.

The best self defense I have ever seen is the oldest. Run and fast....
Yeah true
Wise advice. Even though I conceal a pistol, I have been in situations where I've chosen to get away rather than use my gun where you possibly open yourself up to a world of legal hurt. Shooting someone is some serious business and should only be used when you're in imminent danger of serious bodily harm or death. It should never be brandished to intimidate. If it's pulled out, your life is at risk, and shooting is your last and only option.

I'm not really sure the pendant is a viable tool when you consider that an EDC knife is generally about a quarter of an inch shorter, made of more durable material and isn't hanging around one of the most vulnerable parts of your body. They aren't made for fighting but they give potential attackers a pause if you have to pull it out, hell I scared a guy who couldn't open a parcel because I got mine out and offered to cut the strings for him. My self defense weapon is a grenade
A grenade is a good choice when you can’t bring your flamethrower. Lol
If you don't train with a knife, you're not carrying a self-defense weapon, you're carrying a box opener. And if you carry something that's meant to be used as a "punch enhancer," you need to know what it feels like to *punch something with it*. They might not be guns, but if you carry something for "self defense" you need to get training/train with it, regardless of what it is. Even a baton - try beating an old tire with a collapsible baton for 30 seconds and tell me how your wrist and hand feel afterwards. Also, a lead layer on a ballcap...heads sweat, and it rains. You're inviting lead to leech into your scalp.

Every object can be a defense/attack object if used the right way.
The zahal baton and the taser are the best options.
The sling weapons are definitely not for everyone
All these weapons are elegal in the UK. As for the pocket attack alarm, most car and building alarms are ignored by the general public.
Sooo what do you guys do for self defense, surely not everyone knows karate
In Australia, there's only two things that are legal to carry on you for self defence and not considered as a weapon
A pen/pencil and your car keys
Anything with a blade is illegal along with batons, pepper spray and tazers
Deodorant would be a good pepper spray alternative
@@FartOnMePlz Yes, to a degree, and certainly unchallengeable if found by police in a female's handbag. But in the UK a night nurse who used some sort of domestic spray (I can't recall what it was) on a man attacking her as she walked home in the dark was charged with carrying a weapon because she had it for that purpose. Hard as it may be for people who live in places where weapons can be carried, in many countries self defence is frowned on. I know there are parts of cities where I wouldn't feel safe. But I don't visit them. So in the UK I've never once even considered the need to carry any form of defence. I'd happily walk around my home town with a month's wages in my pocket at 2am.
Wear steel toes shoes, belt with heavy buckle and work out gloves, train with your knee and elbows.🔨
The monkey fist is legally classified as "slung shot" originally commonly carried by sailors to help casting a line by weighting the end.
It is also a specifically named illegal item in states like NC.
I'm getting that baton. I can't tell you the number of times I've been attacked by clay pots!
I like to think self defense as a mindset. The truth is bullies only mess with the weak - not someone who will likely fight back. Also, without tactical training and situational awareness, these weapons are just toys. I've seen first hand a carry concealer fumble his 9mm long enough for the perp to kick his ass (and steal his gun).
Some of these could definetely get you arrested, most areas prohibit concealed weaponry and gadgets like the baton or knife pendant could get you into trouble.
They need to arrest the criminals flooding LA, San Francisco and other areas. Stop voting on people that keep criminals on a loose.
That's why most people who carry self defence gadgets and weapons often don't care for the legalities of the law
Be nice to see a gadget that would be legal in the UK! Most of these would get you prison for a very long time.
Correct, maybe the alarm would be allowed but anything else would be an offensive weapon
Try the following:
A wooden cane or walking stick.
A roll of coins.
A LOUD whistle.
even a tabloid-sized newpaper folded in a certain way becomes extremly effective as a weapon. known as a millwall brick back in football violence days...
What about a rock inside a sock to defend yourself in the uk? I'm sure you can get away with it right?
I could never have these, I would get the urge to use it on myself and end up breaking my own bones
A bottle filled with small rocks is a weapon absolute
It's great that only people who want to defend themselves can buy these things. Imagine if someone who wanted to buy a weapon to harm someone, that's stealthy and able to fool security staff, allowing them to take these things into clubs, pubs or other public places. The amount of security personnel who overlook full wallet searches for the $2 self defence credit card knife is impressive enough, without them completely missing a knife in a necklace or other jewelry. I fail to understand how these things make the world safer, when all it does is provide a better range of weapons for those that wish to cause harm.
U scared

Buying one for when it’s April 27 to protect my mom and sis
For me the best isthe magic staff it just comes out of no where
Sap cap is sick but also lead poisoning is a thing right? Pretty sure having lead chilling on your head all day could also be deadly
I don't think any attacker is going to either let you smack them with your hat or get knocked out from it. The only way it could work is if your "attacker" doesn't notice you.
Best tip: Hug your enemy and tell them everything is going to be okay, offer to buy them icecream and then both live happily ever after.
Does self defense really mean defense? Or counter attack?
Exactly. The best defense is a good offense. If you can't provide a good offense, none of these bullshit gadgets can make up for it.
Probably a little bit of both i would think🤷♂️ but that's a good question 👍
I'd say self defense is anything that keeps you safe, running away, talking your way out of a problem, and fighting if there is no other way of course.
If you are attacked, kill the attacker.
Baseball Cap with a buckle. Hell anything with a heavy buckle and can be dployed quickly
I like the taser flashlight
Number 0: An actual gun.
I can definitely say DO NOT take these anywhere. Majority, if not all of these weapons are totally illegal in every country other than the US. Don’t be a Brittney Griner and claim ignorance it just don’t work
Necklaces and strike pens aren't illegal.
A anywhere legal , effective gadget is a soft narrow pencil case filled with coins. Keep enough safety distance (2 arms long) to break the bones of the forearm of the opponent, if on his head, K.O. promptly.
Sounds good, but I can't visualise what you mean. Soft, does that mean plastic?
If you have to keep 2 arms away from your target, how do you use a pencil case??? Is it a flailing weapon?

"... to break glass and skulls..." well, that`s what we are doing on a daily basis, aren`t we ?
😁😁😁
Cable baton/tactical whip is probably best for untrained user.
You can't break bones with it and it's easily the least lethal of them all but hurts so much it's the perfect demotivator even with strength of a child behind it.
Check out stinger tactical whip.
Don't know how legal it is though.
“Yes I’ll take one Close range nonlethal weapon because when has somebody ever died during a home robbery, it’s not like the only thing between me and the person who wants to murder my spouse and rape me in front of my children is a little aluminum core lock that can be picked with a nail file”
-you and every other person who chooses to carry nonlethal for selfdefense
Self defense should only be used when absolutely necessary. Thus, it should be effective. A little pin prick is not.
The only effective self defense tool is a gun.
The mere possibility of having one makes a potential attacker think twice. And if he is dumb enough, others will learn by his example. An armed society is a polite society.
My heart swells with pride every time I read that final sentence
"An armed society is a polite society."
"Hello, good sir! Good weather we're having. Can you lay on the floor so i can go rob the bank? Thank you!"

no...
I disagree
Top!!
Хороший брелок в любой ситуации пригодится. Главное вывернулся и отойти в сторону. 🤓🤓🤓✌✌
So the ONLY useful item on here which I would "possibly" be able to get away with carrying, is the pen.
An unopened can of pop is totally legal to carry anywhere in the world, costs practically nothing and makes for a brilliant clubbing weapon. And that's hoping you don't have a gun in your face.
A high-intensity flashlight roughly the size and weight of a roll of quarters, aircraft grade aluminum body, preferably with a strobe function, is legal, and a very basic EDC for almost anyone.
The light itself is handy, the strobe may startle or distract an attacker (don't bet too heavily on this), the size and weight allows for punching or hammering.
Additionally, the batteries can be useful for fire starting in a "survival situation".
And a $20 bill can be wrapped around the batteries inside the body as an emergency fund (cab money, etc.)
An aluminum can broken down the middle, split into 2 pieces turns N 2 a straight razor. I used that on some1 attempting to mug myself & my girl, he hit the ground with his nose/upper lip/ & chin bleeding, I gave him $1 to call the lawdogs! Any1 disapproving of me, tough shit.
Just carry everywhere.
Just hang on a minute Attacker, Im having trouble getting my knife of my chain
Monkey fist is one of the most practical imo.
You DO want your self defense “weapons” to be visible. If someone is packing and you know it, you’re probably not gonna mess with them.
Possibly, but if you have to actually defend yourself from a lethal situation it is an advantage if the opponent doesn't know you have a weapon. It is always about what you really know more than the potential bullshit you present. I always carry a knife, and I often carry a firearm. Both are concealed. If the attacker knows about them, it is his advantage. There are studies with this on cops being attacked with a knife-bearing attacker. In the vast majority of the times the cops are lethally wounded for not realizing the perpetrator was armed. Go look it up. That's REALITY. You should be in touch with reality when planning for self defense.
Go ahead, let's see if that works for you. 😂
People where I am would see that shit as a threat and they are either packing heat too or on too much crack to care. In safer places this may fly but this is not good advice for so many people
I'll stick with carrying concealed. I'll keep the element of surprise on my side.
Or you give someone easy access to weapon if they can get or make an opportunity to blindside you?
They way I see it it's like showing everyone at the table your hand while you're still playing poker. Not what I'd call a wise move.
Where I live, with my concealed weapons permit, I'm legally allowed to carry basically anything, as long as it is concealed. Even if open carry was legal, I'd still choose to carry concealed. It gives you the element of surprise. Advertising that you have a weapon is a good way to become a target for the bad guys to want to take it from you. I don't dress like a paramilitary 'operator" either. Better to blend in, being the "grey" man.
Es el mejor video
You know what they should invent: a device that you can carry hidden in your hand to emit sound that only the dog hears, Like those device you put by your window, the dog barks, and the device shut up the dog. What's the name of the device that the ciclists use to chase away dogs, the sound is painful to the dog and the dog leaves alone.
Lead? Near my dome? You know about the mad hatter right?
Alternatively I present a device to put lead in your attackers dome from afar. They'll lose their mind, right out the back of their head
Barrett Firearms Manufacturing was founded by Ronnie Barrett for the sole purpose of building semi-automatic rifles chambered for the powerful 12.7×99mm NATO (.50 BMG) ammunition, originally developed for and used in M2 Browning machine guns. The weapon was first sold to the Swedish Army in 1989. In 1990, the United States armed forces purchased the M82A1 during operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm in Kuwait and Iraq. About 125 rifles were initially bought by the United States Marine Corps, and orders from the Army and Air Force soon followed. The M82A1 is known by the U.S. military as the SASR-"Special Applications Scoped Rifle",[5] and it was and still is used as an anti-materiel rifle and explosive ordnance disposal tool.
I think the pen was the best thing in this entire video
I always carry a cheese grater - that way if I get attacked I can run the grater up their ankles. Gotta have some fun when in a fight.
Matatan.⭐🤔⭐. Ribirin HS,
Good luck fellas,
