Tatum is the part of the reason their defense is good. Tatum will guard Giannis and still run the offense. Luka will try and find the most mid player to guard. That’s if he bothers to get down the court instead of barking at the refs. In terms of offensive talent and ability Luka is better. If you want a player that can revive a franchise, you want Tatum.

Now Grant has confirmed that Luka is Larry Bird 2.0.....Luka's game is very similar to Larry's....Both talk "trash", both names start with the letter "L" for "Long" distance amazing shooters, both "seem" to move slow and not very athletic, but they are very deceptive b/c they can both get to the basket with ease if they want too. Both are not known for their defense. They are both about the same size, although Larry is the taller one listed at 6"9 vs. Luka at 6"7. But, Luka is the heavier one listed at 230lbs, which he's probably close to 250lbs. Larry listed at 220lbs in his playing days. Both are court visionaries knowing when to pass and when to take over the game. The list goes on in similarities‼️ All Luka needs to do now to really seal the deal of "Larry 2.0" is accomplish or surpass Larry's illustrious career:

Giannis had 25 points 20 rebounds and 9 assist that game he was trying to say he didn’t have a good game. I like the guy but he wrong on that one. Giannis took them to game 7 with little to no help. They got lucky that series is what he meant to say.

Giannis takes almost exclusively layups and shot 46% from the field in that series. For his standards that’s awful. If you’re taking 28 shots a game you’re gonna have a big scoring total, he just wasn’t efficient. Box score watchers will see “25/20/9” and think he dominated but he didn’t.
Giannis shot 10/26 (38.5%) in game 7 and 22 of his 26 shots were in the paint. He got shut down offensively.
That series was also the most uncompetitive 7 game series ever. The Celtics blew the bucks out in all of their 4 wins. 2/3 of the bucks wins came down to the last minute. So the Celtics weren’t lucky at all. If a few plays go a different way at the end game 3 and game 5, that’s a 5 game series. The Celtics dominated that series.
Just because a series goes 7 doesn’t mean it was competitive. The Celtics nets series before that series was a 4 game sweep but basically every game was close going into the 4th.

So when he plays he fakes to put the defneder in the air early, then intentionally takes contact from the unbalanced defender (who can't even avoid it if they wanted to at that point) before shooting and it gets called as a foul. Thus using the rules. IK it's complicated so don't think too hard about it.
