I❤️ Nottingham
Nottingham is quite a gem of a place. It's quite a student town, with perhaps 60,000 students representing 1/10th of the population. There's an eclectic mix of town and gown. It's young and vibrant, very creative on all fronts, and very fragrant. There is an amazing rock scene and a large selection of bars. The local population is almost indiginous from the students. It's almost as if they have a separate life, their own ways and their own bars. There are some absolute characters. Shiny happy people.
A gem of a place with lowest disposable income in uk, worst schools in uk, highest council tax in uk, 8th poorest authority in uk. Be balanced...
Great video! used to live in Lenton and made some of my first zero budget films there. Great location and good city of diversity in landscape. Shame they've pulled down most of the blocks now...
Born in Mapperley, moved to Thorneywood, then moved to Lenton and now live in Sneinton.
