This was my first opera. Watched it during the first couple weeks into the pandemic. What a comfort and fuller life it is to know this opera and others now. I agree with the sentiment, this is the perfect first opera you can watch!

Act 3 is the at the heart of this opera and the duet between Mimi and Marchello at the beginning of that act is by far my favourite part of the whole work.
