The competition I am participating in is only in Japan. If I pass the regional qualifying round, I can go to the semi-final round. I have to sing a different piece and I will be singing Mascagni's Ave Maria.

Quando me’n vo is the grammatically right version. If you have doubt about it you can check the full score published at the time of Puccini just here s9.imslp.org/files/imglnks/usimg/0/00/IMSLP43676-PMLP50378-Puccini-BohemeFSric.pdf take look at page number 194 of the score. Many music score published outside Italy are totally wrong in the title. Take care
