These eyes are characterized by a dark iris, almost impossible to differentiate it from the pupil.
-Violet

I have had heterochromia for as long as i can remember, but, many times, most people do not notice it. It's always been funny to have someone who has known me for years say to me "Did you know you have 2 different color eyes". My reply has always been, "Yes, I couldn't decide whether to choose my mother's (Hazel) or my father's (Blue), so I chose one of each".

My grown son has one light reddish brown eye & one green eye. What causes the 2 diff colors? Mine are brown, his dad's were hazel - blue, green, gray or almost icy white - they changed more with his moods rather than the color of his clothes.

Huh, when I was born I had really intense Heterochromia with my left eye being dark brown and my right eye being very blue. Now that I'm way older my left eye has stayed the same but my right eye has changed a little and has central heterochromia, with a part of it being brown and a little more being blue. nice

I have a very visible case of Central Heterochromia. I would have liked to hear more about it. It’s not only the rarest eyes… but it’s rare to find a decent video about CH aswell
i have amber eyes with a copper tint. I'm from southern Asia and no one in my family really possess light iris like mine. No I'm not adopted. But sometimes it's really annoying when people stare at me when I'm at public. Also people won't hold eye contact with me but stare back when I'm not paying attention to them. I love my eyes and do embrace my uniqueness but man , there are struggles.

It's really Iceland. I have extremely light green eyes with a blue outer ring. I didn't understand why I have the ring but I have looked more closely into my eye color and a majority of people with my eye color (green) are in Iceland. At least that is what I have read elsewhere.

I’ve got hazelnut colored eyes but I don’t think that’s unusual because a lot of people have these color eyes, just like me, who are caucasians from Cuba. What’s strange is that my wife always tells me that I have blue eyes, while others think that my eyes are green, and others brown. Whenever I’m filling out a form, and I’m asked what are the colors of my eyes, I write “green “ because there’s no option for hazelnut, and that’s the color that I think it’s closer to my eye colors.

Both of my parents have brown eyes. Understandable since my father is African American and my mother was Italian and Irish. My 2 sisters that my mother had with another black man both have brown eyes. My youngest sister that my father had with his second wife who is of Irish and English descent has eyes like mine,though her mother's like my father's eyes are brown. my sister and I have turquoise colored eyes,that fade between grey green and blue. they always have a grey ring around the Iris and gold expanding from the pupils. My 28 year old daughter has silver eyes. Her mother is African American. Rare? certainly. Attractive? I hear it often. Totally F'n useless. All of us are blind as bats, my youngest sister my daughter and I. I'll trade you for your brown eyes

I love my clear light green eyes. The drawback is light sensitivity, so I use sunglasses during the day when it's sunny outside. My advantage has always been sharp night vision!
I have blue eyes. What makes them blue is light scattering. It’s the same light effect that makes the sea look blue. There are 2 layers to the eye that produce pigment, an inner and outer pigment. In blue eyes, the inner layer is brown (normal pigment) and the outer layer is clear. So technically, my eyes are clear ;) But you see them as blue.
If I could choose I’d go for red eyes. I’d always loved red eyes, LONG before any of the vampire nonsense. I just find them very beautiful.

I have Central Heterochromia and never knew it. It started developing after I hit puberty. All my siblings have eyes that changed color as they got older too! So My eyes are a tuquoisy color on the outside and amber/brown on the inside. My kid's eyes are starting to change color too!

My light hazelnut comes when I cry ,but if I’m tired or hungry, there brown but if I’m just feeling normal or happy or any good emotions, they are normal hazelnut. When I’m mad, they get really dark. So I have emotional color changing eyes!

Bowie did not have heterochromia. He had Anisocoria which is a condition where one pupil is more dilated and can be permanent due to genetic reasons or from injury. Bowie's condition was due to a fight he had as a teen which scratched his eye and left the pupil in one eye more dilated.

My eyes seem to be getting lighter as I am aging (66). And one is just a bit lighter than the other. Only a few people have noticed. An optometrist said it isn't unusual as one ages for their eyes to change color a bit. When I was a child my eyes were definite brown, but now seem more hazel. I have 2 siblings both with crystal blue eyes. I've always wanted to have their eye color, but now, I am liking how mine look.

Yea, those are what's considered black eyes. To me, you're making yourself sound somewhat idiotic. Black eyes only look brown in a lit-up area. In a normal and/or somewhat dark area, it can be kinda hard to differentiate the pupil from the iris.

I have light silver eyes (that have gotten darker the older I've gotten) and my brother has hazelnut eyes (we always thought his eyes were green though)
