Stunning, man we're only a few years from having gaming tech that's going to rival really being in the aircraft! Amazing stuff. You should really look at switching over to MSFS!
where are the projectors (how many?) and what are they projecting on (I it a curved screen?) to have this seemless image out of the windows of the cockpit. This is a crazy setup. Amazing! love the trim wheels spinning and everything.
would have been much more interesting if you showed the setup from outside cockpit + what is exactly the benefit of the 4K projectors as I understand you are running the 3 projectors from 1 RTX 390 card? 'I heard little more crisp?) Running 3 x 4K is impossible from 1 card or host PC, AFAIK, or is it?
Hi there. I have viewed hundreds of simulator youtube videos. I always notice the shadow band going down the simulator screen when using projectors. Is it the actual video or is it the projectors. Do you see the shadow band on your display ? I am thinking its the actual camera recording the video. Thank you and Brilliant simulator One of the best ive seen. Just one comment i would like to make and that is the noise from your trim wheels. It sounds like there is something loose like a wire scuffing the wheels. They should be silent just like the real thing. Wonderful video with great real life flying.
The shutter speed of the camera is slightly out of sync with the refresh rate of the projector, so there is a brief moment when the camera captures the screen in the middle of its refresh. It's solely an artifact of recording and it's not something you would (or should) ever notice in real life.
Amazing build. Very well done. Can't wait to see more. Thanks for sharing.
This sim is AMAZING! thank you for sharing all the details. Very helpful. I have the gt1080hrd. Good to know the upgrade is worth it.
That`s insane! So good! Happy landings and regards from Switzerland!
Really nice work on your simulator.
Incredible. I've been wanting to see something similar to a build I'm doing.
ok

MSFS has good graphics, but P3D has the most realistic physics, which matters a lot more.

I would really love to correspond with you on this build or if you have a list of equipment used that would be helpful also.
wow that was awesome,
Very cool!
Verry nice
How many projectors? 3? It didn't seem like you said, please update description. Great setup.
Nice bro which software are you using for the instruments ,?
What company sells those jrails you are, using ?
How many pcs do you use?

P3D is basically an FSX mod, it's possible because it's such an old engine.

I have flown hundreds of hours in the jump seat, of the 200 series of 737's, and as I recall the noise of the slow speed trimming is spot on.
How much does your build cost
Did you say this is a budget simulator…? What you mean by that…? Can you quantify?
Do you see a difference between the laser and lamp in quality
of course we see that Árni :-) Much less blueish, better color, sharper. But it's not 4k, just 1080.
What model of projector do you use?
I wonder the same!
Optoma ZH406ST
If you guys actually watch the video you will know what projector it is 🙄
He didn't say how many though. Those are the key questions!
8k fog looks better..... :)
Must be nice to spend money like captain big wallet.
I expected information on your projectors, set and what to buy. I didn't find anything useful in this video except some showing off maybe????
All this money you spend on this setup... why not just spend it no becoma real pilot ?
A friend of mine built an amazing and very expensive simulator because he can’t be a real pilot for physical reasons.
