- Another summer training block is complete. The block included 2 days of Giant slalom and 1 day of slalom.
There has been some progress so far during the pre-season, but I'll keep pushing hard for Portugal. Always a huge honor to represent my country!

NEW HERE?
My name is Ricardo Brancal.
I'm an Alpine Ski Athlete from Portugal - Sport
Feels right😊🌹
Obrigado Mãe 😜
Thank you for this new video!
But why do you use the old Rossignol shoes whereas in your previous videos, notably "SKI CARVING IN ITALY", you had the new Rossignol Race shoes?
I feel better with the older model
@@RicardoBrancal Makes sense. Thanks for answering me.
Welcome 💪🏼
Do you use a protective short, such as the Rossignol RPG Short under your suit in addition to the back protector, or do you only use a back protector?
In giant I use back and arms protection. In slalom just the back protection
@@RicardoBrancal OK, thanks for the answer ⛷🎿
The skier looks like he goes on his inside ski.. agree?
What happens is that sometimes I pressure on the outside ski without the body being on top of the skis. This means that the outside ski is further away from the body (more than it should be). In consequence when pressuring the outside ski, sometimes it slides always. You can see that on the picture agreed 👍🏼
@@RicardoBrancal This is great self analysis, And why I think both boot work and ski tune might need adjustments?? Looks very good and faster than a lot of skiers
Thanks a lot! Yes I am trying to switch from 87 to 86°
@@RicardoBrancal you shouldn't switch to 86° because you don't have enough angulation to profit a 86° angle.
I’m skiing better with an 86 angle, specially on ice. It’s a ski that turns faster with less inclination
